The product works well tracking what you do in any application to remind you what you were doing But when you generate reports you can t do it by time only by project Everything has to be assigned a project My employer wanted to see what I was doing chronologically by time I purchased it for 3 months as a requirement of my job Even though I only needed it for a months time The unpleasant surprise was for another charge for 3 months subscription without any warning No warning that your subscription is about to expire or anything I had no idea that they setup your account for automatic renewals by default You have to contact their support directly to cancel your account I contacted them right away after a saw another 3 months service charge the day of They informed me I had to cancel the day before the expiration of the subscription to receive any refund No exceptions I find their charging practices dubious Fair warning to anyone else

Dishonest company yet nice software tool
Dishonest company but a nice software toolWhen you sign up you get a confirmation message including a date that your subscription will renew You write this in your agenda and cancel before renewal Then you get confronted that they have hidden a clause in their agreement with small letters that you cannot cancel at all before the given date It shall be three months before instead This is nowhere communicated upfront This is a scammy business practice

Scammy silent and automatic renewal
Same experience for me as the other reviews I bought the software as a consumer The software was silently and automatically renewed for a year I just received an email with my invoice when it was too late to cancel I notified them that I want to cancel my subscription with 1 month s notice as is according to the law They refuse to do it because they claim to provide a B2B service and therefore consider me a business client where other rules apply You have been warned Do not use this software and sponsor their scammy practices

Unprofessional CEO and scammy practises
I usually don t write reviews but this is a case where I need to warn others for this business and it s practises First of all it s about the worst customer service I have ever had directly from the founder itself He is insanely rude and unprofessional keeps insisting that we have hired bad developers Their customer service just doesn t respond at all Only because they are not helpful people they have the attitude of it s in the docs we re not going to help This was his email to me Some guy with a gmail address asking if he can import tasks Come on I advise you in the future to hire professionals to do your IT jobs We would have built the integration for you in a week and it would have probably cost you less than hiring these people who have no idea how to build API integrations I just looked at the caht questions He asked the same idiotiv questions as the first guy In the meantime since we first had contact more than ten other customers built their own integrations without needing any help So you can blame us all you want It is not our fault you are bad at hiring developers He types like he was drunk or something and aside from that it s such an unprofessional tone The type of person that is rather right then make his customers happy Aside from that it said in our account that the new subscription would be charged on the 23rd of march so I thought I have enough time to cancel But in their terms of service it said you have to cancel 1 month before that They are not understanding Typical german attitude So now we have to pay another quarter for something we don t use Like other reviews said trully scammy But a CEO that has this tone to it s customers is truly the part I dont understand I mentioned that I was going to write a review not blackmail and he send me back this And now you blame us and also blackmail us with a bad review Look in the mirror man We are not the problem here We happily give a public review to your company as well by the way In addition we have your blackmail on record Threatening with a bad review to get financial gain is illegal in the EU and we will not hesitate to go against that

Scammy site program even runs after uninstall
Extremely diseaving site indeed read other reviews In my case they tricked my in a trial version with payment and according to there statements once you pay your trial time is over Nowere documented they claim they don t ask for money when trying Anyway wanted to get rid of their softwar so I uninstalled it But whta it still runs on my machine and is still installed So basically nothing was rmoved This is extremely incompetent programming not folowing Microsoft guidelines Once uninstalled there should at least be no timebro executable any more Anyways really disapointed still trying to get a refund

No communication about renewal contract and no refund
Be aware of the automatic renewal I signed up for a 2 year contract I changed jobs so I do not make use of the tool anymore You do not receive an email about the renewal of the contract and I just received the invoice for a two year new contract and I did not get any refund back They said that you just have to look in the customer portal

I was emailed about a 10 Amazon Voucher for leaving a review Well I m happy to My advice- Avoid Much better alternatives and deceptive foreign non-US billing practices 460 for 1 month of use This software is marginally good if you have ONE computer that you use If you use two its trash and cannot sync between the two If you want to merge with your phone also impossible I would say that was fine and maybe on me I stopped using the software after a month but the inexcusable thing is that they billed me for a second two years and refused to give a refund They know easily demonstrable I hadn t used the software and know I had complained to customer service about it They changed the name of the company during this time and I thought it was a fraudulent charge So not only did I not use the software I was billed for it for a second two year term and their customer service was smug So all in all I paid 450 for a month of unsatisfactory use I wasn t looking for them to give me my money back for the first period I signed up I was only looking for them not to bill me again- knowing that I hadn t used the software in 22 months If this is how they do one thing this is how they will do everything AVOID Seriously why did you want my 230 if you know I wasn t using the software Happy to provide the emails if I was able to attach them I had originally signed up with timebro and then they switched to memtime probably because of the negative reviews Having looked at the other reviews it looks like I m not alone Again if they are this greedy with paying customers that don t use their software then what will they do for you
