If you have a problem with these products you have a real problem as they do not react at all So no info on repairs spares neither to the wholesaler installer or client They seem to not exist anymore

Shambolic customer services
What would you expect when you order from a premium brand with products costing in excess of a few thousand pounds You d be naive to think that buying from an expensive premium brand would bring a premium level of service Tom Dixon has been a complete headache from the day I ordered from them I wanted to return one of the products I d purchased which has to go through a return to manufacturer authorisation process It took numerous unanswered emails and multiple telephone calls to be given authorisation Returns postage then has to be organised and paid for by the customer which is expensive for large items Tom Dixon doesn t have a preferential courier with discounted rates It s been nearly 2 weeks since I returned the product and over a month since they took payment To this day I m still chasing my refund for a significant sum of money receiving no response from the team at Tom Dixon or the inadequate distribution service they re using in Birmingham

Bought a few large candles and when I tried to burn one of them it wouldn t stay lit It was full of water large earth candle cost over 200 for 1 and absolutely useless I contacted customer services and they offered me 20 off my next purchase really

Non existent customer service
When I was on the website it offered me a 10 discount on my first order but when I put in the code it said it was not valid I have sent 3 emails regarding this issue and have not had a single reply If this is the service you get when trying to purchase items I dread to think how bad it will be if there is an issue

I purchased a Tom Dixon light 7 years
I purchased a Tom Dixon light 7 years ago which I m really in love with however I ve recently noticed tiny scratches to it which are only visible when the light is turned on I m absolutely gutted as for the price I expected the light to last a number of years I then purchased the same light for a client I m an Interior Designer my client has just put it up and hers has even more speckled ok it than my one It s been up just a couple of weeks This is really poor Is there anything that can be done to repair the lights Claire Moriarty

Having purchased many great products from TD I am very disappointed with my latest experience Trying to get hold of Customer services is like tracking down a unicorn Both are non existence Filled out the returns form on line as per procedure and TD policy 3 days later still no reply Called the customer service number We are currently closed is the automated reply I have made several calls all with the same outcome I have now raised a dispute with my credit card provider No doubt that will wake them up Really need to sort Customer service levels out It s not like I have purchased a product from a car boot sale although it certainly feels like it

Not worth the hassle
I would give zero stars if I could Ordered a pendant light and didn t expect it to be plastic for the price it was fair enough my fault for not checking beforehand so I tried to organise a return Sent three emails requesting return authorisation and took them two weeks to arrange I paid a courier to transport and the received the return I waited 11 days after I could see they had received the return without a single piece of acknowledgment that they received it or that they would process my refund Still haven t received my money back Don t buy your light from them directly - go to a qualified retailer

Copper Globe - save your money
I love Tom Dixon lights and have a few in my home and my favourite is my copper globe After less than five years I am having to take this light down as the copper is flaking off so extensively it s embarrassing Tom Dixon can t repair it and are unwilling to replace the shade Completely waste of money I expected better I have 15 year old Tom Dixon lights that look as good as new Nice agent via email but he contacted the team who would not help Certainly won t be shopping Tom Dixon again and please TD don t respond to my comments with remarks about techniques used in manufacturing The bottom line is your technique isn t good enough Save your money

No commitment to quality and sustainability
No commitment to the longevity sustainability and quality of the products I contacted customer service to ask about replacement parts for the Brew Cafeti re The answer was find a handy man that s it If they can t repair or hold spares for premium products that are in practical use day to day then at least offer a replacement I was just sent packing with a now useless hunk of scrap metal
