Tonic Studios what a let down
I have placed several orders with Tonic Studios over the years The vast majority of them have been wrong when they ve been delivered Many times I ve tried to call them I think out of the many calls I have made they have only ever been bothered to answer the phone once Orders have arrived with parts of the order missing or with incorrect items On several occasions the original package has not even turned up and Tonic has sent out new packages On other occasions it has taken them an unacceptable amount of time to even dispatch some of my orders They just don t seem to give a damn about getting orders right in the first place Which is a shame as Tonic used to be my go-to craft brand I won t be buying from them again in the future UPDATE And so much for learning from reviews I placed an order for some more Tonic products through Create and Craft fulfilled by Tonic Studios on 6th April low and behold on 20th April they still hadnt arrived I cancelled the order and will NEVER buy this rubbish companies products again in the future and dont you dare say there are currently delays with the post because items I ordered from C C after I ordered these Tonics dies have arrived a lot quicker also dies I ordered from another company on Friday 17th April arrived this morning 20th so if they can do it why can t Tonic Studios It simply appears they dont give a crap about customers they only care about getting your money Sorry Tonic Studios

Nil Star Tonic Customer Services
I have bought the odd Tonic Die in the past and I Usetheir Die Folders all the time they are excellent BUT I never thought I would utter this sentence theircustomer services make Create and Craft look like thebest possible one you could ever deal with I bought the two Large Layering Lace Die sets from C C 30th June as the two sets had a special discount price they arrived on the 6th July great used them the same night to make sure no faults perfect on the 7th July tried one of the sets and found that one of the layers would not cut I went from 90gsm to 300gsm and everything in between as it had cut the night before 300gsm decided to ring them explained what had happened and confirmed every type of plates shim etc tried no go So was asked if could send pics attached to email with all info from my C C invoice which I did I sent pic of die the cutting from 6th and all the diff card stock tried on the 7th sent 8th July I said because the price was reduced did not want to send back as no stock left and I would only receive back the price of One of the sets so if they had an answer would be grateful yes would have a look and get back to me No contact sent email on the 12th July also left message phones always busy for them to return my call as requested still no contact 15th July sent another email all these addressed to person who handled my first contact and said if she had passed it onto a different dept could she give them a push ASAP to sort my problem been ringing since 915am today 19th July no answer just keep saying leave your information which I did we will get back to you they have not been trying different times all day same busy same message as before I am not even going to bother leave my information because it is a waste of time If that was my company I would say as it is only one layer send it back and we will replace it for you so sorry Jody when you say what a fantastic company you work for it does not go for the customer service staff

Poor delivery times
Although the products are great the customer service and despatch notifications are lacking Despatch is slow taking over a week typically I have also had instance where they sent me an order in error yet I had to return it from travelling to the post office at my cost

Awful customer service
I placed an order for a glue gun on the 4th of January when it didn t arrive i emailed and recieved no reply i emailed again on 13th January to say please cancel this order as i have had to buy one off Amazon They then replied to say we ve posted your order today really awful customer service and took them 9 days to post my order not good enough very disappointedUpdate 27th January item still not recieved after several emails they finally replied someone called Sarah said her director Simon would contact me that was on the 16th January it is now the 27th and i am still waiting another example of their appalling customer service

Diabolical logistics
I have been buying Tonic products regularly for my small business for many years I suddenly realised this morning that I still hadn t received any updates on order placed 10 days ago I went into my account to check and it hadn t even been processed yet so I attempted to contact them The phone line rings FOREVER with the most annoying music you could imagine so I stood that for as long as I could then hung up I immediately sent a message 10 30 asking why it hadn t even been processed yet I then realised that I was actually going to have to buy the items elsewhere - as they d simply taken too long - so I messaged again and asked them to cancel and refund my order which I am entitled to do BEFORE it s processed Guess what I ve just had a message mid day to say it s been processed and is shortly on its way Funny that eh What a spooky coincidence Diabolical logistics 10 days to dispatch an order which is clearly off the shelf these days is pretty unjustifiable I see reading the reviews below that this appears to be the norm now with Tonic so I m afraid this will be my last order from the company Genuine order no 199693 if you care Tonic

One of the worst companies i have ever
One of the worst companies i have ever dealt with No replies to my 5 emails knowone answering phone calls Took weeks to dispatch my items and a missing craft kit which clearly was not posted in an A4 envelope Also missing was the magnetic sheet and binder for the showcase die set After having so may problems in the past with this company over discount codes etc etc I had communication with the MD who took ages to rectify the refunds and who was just as clueless and unhelpful all round would not buy from them again if they were the last bussiness on earth I

Avoid
Placed an order and it hasn t arrived and no response from customer services over phone or email I didn t receive any message to say it was despatched so just want to cancel my order now but have no way to do this without them replying I would definitely avoid this company Edit Simon I saw your response yesterday and sent all my correspondence to you I don t understand why you couldn t see it your side though

If I could give Tonic Studios a zero rating I would I made an order last Monday and I m still waiting for a response regarding dispatch They have already taken my payment which was over 100 pounds I ve emailed this company twice and tried to contact them by telephone to be put on hold for 30 minutes so I hung up I can t even get a refund because they are not contactable I would Never order from this company again and would rather spend my money on purchases from other retailers Do Not place any orders with Tonic Studio UK you will only get frustrated I will take this complaint further with the relevant bodies until I am issued a refund It s now the 1st of November and still haven t received my order I would avoid this company and save yourself the stress
