Great experience with Topcar La Palma

Very easy to get in contact with Topcar during the hire period and they were very responsive

4 3 2023 I would like to write that issue was solved and money from depozit are on my account Thank you for your support in solving the claim Ieas writing previous reference with the emotions but now I see that will not have problem to hire car from you in future again Will keep her the previous message to be clear what I am talking about I have current and at the moment not good experience I booked the car at the AirPort on Fuerteventura 24 1 23 for 7 days and I paid the insurance and also deposit 500 I am travelling here with two little kids 3 5 and 0 5 years old On Saturday 28 1 23 I filled up at the gas station the petrol as it should be After one hour od driving the engine stopped working fully so I drove to the nearest place and stopped After a discussion with the rental company I had two options to choose from Drive to the AirPort with two kids another one hour with the car in this condition or wait 2 hours for tow truck with replacement car Of course I chose the second option even though it was uncomfortable with the children but a safer choice But the rental company informed me that they will take the car for repair and until they know what is wrong with it they will not return my deposit For me it is completely unacceptable I rented a car I paid I drive carefully with children and you exposed me to the risk of a broken car and then you want to withhold my money instead of compensation for waiting your support on holiday I am travelling often I always rent a car and I never paid deposit and nothing ever happened but the first and last time from you the whole situation is strange and it makes the rest of an otherwise wonderful vacation unpleasant

TopCar was very good for us

I am always very careful when hiring car but after much research i had the best price quality feeling at TopCar in Gran Canaria Airport this time we rented a Mercedes A Class Sedan normally i never take full coverage but this time i did through booking com just to have peace of mind Like always when picking up the car they asked if i needed extra insurance but when i said no i got a simple reply no problem and we moved on While other companies come with all kind of stories trying to convince u to take more insurance Got the car was a bit dusted could not clearly check for damages after telling them they directly drove the car through a washing-street and was told when bringing back i dont need to clean the car which is new for me I made a movie as always and pictures of anything i might get trouble about later on they said they don t check as i do now but i want to be sure and always make video s and pictures Car was great almost brand new only 2k kilometer on the gauge I made no damages brought the car back a bit early but was very dirty and wanted to know if i needed cleaning No problem they said did a fast check and said it is all ok Made again video and pic s to be sure Now got my deposit back all was ok to be honest this was one of the best rental car experiences we had in Spain Only bad thing was they dont t have a full full policy so need to be careful to bring back with same or more amount of fuel For us it was ok Thanks TopCar

Great service

Great service hired a car from Tops Cars and was very easy He picked up from the airport and took us to get the car no problem At the end of holiday he came to the house and took us back to the airport The guy does exactly what he says I would highly recommend Tops cars

Superb experience nothing to fault

I feel like some of the reviews left on here do not give a correct view of TopCar I too read some of the feedback after booking before I left the UK bound for Gran Canaria and felt quite apprehensive about getting there based off what I had read However the service we received was top class We arrived at 8pm on the 4th July 2024 along with 2 other UK flights around the same time as ours I expected there to be a queue at the TopCar counter but we were the only ones so got seen to straight away The gentleman at the counter greeted us with open arms and promptly took my passport and driving licence and got the keys for our car We booked a Mini Cooper Convertible Auto and we got the exact car we had paid for Swiftly paid the money via Credit Card I had read the terms and conditions before booking and knew about the deposit so we opted for the super insurance it s a no brainer if you ask me Even with the super insurance it doesn t work out anymore expensive than any of the other rental companies No deposit required if you re paying on credit card so that s why we opted for that The car itself was spot on there was absolutely no damage on the car at all It was a 2021 model with circa 60k km on the clock but looked great Returning the car on 9th July was just as simple there is a petrol station just outside the airport and we filled the car back up before going into the airport There is plenty of signage around when entering the airport pointing you where to go Went to the desk dropped the keys off and off we went Perfect We had no issues at all with any of the booking We are due to come back to Gran Canaria soon and will definitely be booking our car hire with Top Car again I did leave my girlfriend s travel neck pillow in the boot of the car so if you read this TopCar you can have that for free Haha

Lanzarote car rent

We rent a car on Lanzarote at the airport We had to wait about 20min for pick up because of many people But service was fast because I had already did an online check in Ladies at the desk were kind and doing their best to quickly get people their cars Cars are in garage next to the hall There were two people they gave us keys and car We booked Fiat500 but they gave us Hyundai i10 which is the same category We were very satisfied because car was absolutely new had not even 5000km on board clean Drop off was also very quick People at service were nice kind asked if we were satisfied with car As we booked the car with our flight tickets we also booked full insurence through external group so we had to pay 500 deposit but we knew about it it was written in terms The deposit was sent back to our card in 24hours after drop off So we had very good exprience with Top Car at Lanzarote and we definitely recommed them Thank you Top car for great car and nice service

Quality car quality service

Very easy at the airport and no over sell of the insurance I had my own but it was quite competitive to be fair No push to upgrade and really friendly staff Car was amazing and no hassle with the return Will 100 use them again
