High quality end product Ray is knowledgeable versatile super-dependable

We first used Ray for a side return extension to a Victorian house with associated refurbishment of the downstairs living dining space kitchen patio and garden areas Ray has subsequently completed a number of other projects for us including the conversion of a suspended timber floor to concrete underfloor heating installation and construction of raised flower beds and a horizontal garden fence from individual Siberian larch slats Ray is transparent in his quoting process and although not always the cheapest is accurate with his estimates resulting in no unexpected cost surprises overruns Having used multiple builders over the years it is also a delight to work with someone who not only provides a clear staged timeline for the planned works but then generally comes in ahead of time Ray is responsive to client input during the project and able to provide design ideas if as required - e g at Ray s suggestion we incorporated an exposed brick wall in the downstairs living space re-using the London stock bricks from the demolished side return wall as well as taking up suggestions for shadow gap finishes vs architraves Ray is also highly versatile equally comfortable doing the ground-works steel-work brickwork drainage heating plumbing electrics We also commissioned some bespoke joinery shelves cupboards cubby holes etc that Ray also executed with aplomb Ray really cares about the quality of the end product and that the client is delighted with the final outcome His aftercare is excellent - willing to pop by in a reasonable timescale to address any snagging issues that crop up We are very happy with all the work Ray has done for us and would highly recommend him

Ray has completely re-developed two properties for us over the years His finishes and workmanship are of the highest spec and we ve finished both projects within the scheduled time His skills cover the whole range of building work and interior design which makes the process very smooth He s super tidy friendly and knowledgeable Absolutely recommend
