TOSHIBA QUALITY CONTROL
I have a 55 inch Toshiba television in my living room that has a flickering section along the bottom Very disappointed as it is not on every day as tv programs are so poor and repetitive To make matters worse the 18 month old 43 inch version in my bedroom went faulty a WEEK later and is a mass of vertical lines that make it unwatchable The 43 inch model was only ever switched on about 10 times in its short life and was never left on standby So many other reviews on here suggests poor quality control on modern Toshiba televisions I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER TOSHIBA PRODUCT as my experience of two products that should last years more was so inadequate

Well brought from Agos 15th February
Well brought from Agos 15th February 2023 rang 4 times since this date after loads of puffing and blowing finally they sent me a USB stick to fix my tv from freezing it did sometimes work but mostly I have to keep rescan the set could be 2 or 3 times a day its a toshiba50 50ua3d63db smart hdr led Please people don t buy rubbish service so disappointed

Don t buy toshiba products
If i could rate toshiba less than 1 star then i would I bought 2 50 toshiba tv 2 years ago together both have developed lines going across the screen One is on the wall so untouched from the day it was put there and the other left on the stand I ve called toshiba for help no help from them as the warranty has finished they said and i explained that I ve got a JVC 32 that I ve had for more 8 years which is left on all night and has no problem Their response was sometimes you get a good tv and sometimes not

Their customer service is beyond poor Trust the other reviews do not purchase a Toshiba TV My TV is less than 1 year old and it is already buggy glitchy and generally the worst electrical item I have ever owned Do yourself a favour buy Samsung and spend an additional 20

AWFUL
AWFUL my son has a smaller smart tv in his room Every so often it disconnects itself from the wifi and is an absolute pain to try to reconnect most of the time we play around with and somehow we get it working again This time around we have tried absolutely everything Factory reset wifi reset unplug while on delete wifi add new wifi every single internet search has proved useless We get the tv connected we launch Netflix it works Close Netflix launch youtube or prime SORRY ITS NOT CONNECTED so angry at this point iv given up I will NEVER EVER buy a toshiba product again Tv is around 2 years old if that edit Yes we have tried to remove reinstall apps update apps update tv firmware ect Nothing

Company not interested
Company not interested after you have bought their TV Bought 2 Toshiba 50 Tvs 16th Nov 2021 we do have an old Toshiba that works fine However very disappointed when one of the tvs developed vertical lines all over the screen in October 2023 no help from Toshiba out of 12 month warranty not cost affective to repair Then last week 2nd tv developed same fault contacted Toshiba again to ask if they had a faulty batch NOT interested just standard reply out of warranty contact retailer its not the retailers fault if Toshiba can t investigate the cause of all these faulty TVs According to search online a TV should last around 6 years No more Toshiba goods for us

Seems to me these toshiba tvs particularly the 50 55in ones have got a common manufacturers fault Seeing all the complaints below why are they still knocking out these tvs continually whilst refusing to either repair or replace them Stores need to stop selling them and trading standards need to step in Toshiba used to be a very good make but now they are made in Turkey they are well below standard and not fit for purpose Time all of us complaining on here lobbied trading standards to put and end to it I ll be calling them tomorrow

Bought Toshiba 43 UF tv seven months ago and had trouble with picture failure and ch nnels changing although still under guarantee no joy from retailer has to be sent back for repair surely technology today should last longer than seven months Had a television engineer round today to inspe t and diagnose the problem at my expense che k aerial etc but to no avail My Wife who is recovering from Cancer relies on this medium being house bound but no sympathy from the retailer Surely technology today should last longer than 7 months Do not buy Toshiba products Buster

Brought a Toshiba 43in fire qled TV and have just returned after a fortnight as HD channels flicker and then yesterday it dropped WiFi and wouldn t connect no matter what we did Only saving grace is that brought from Argos who refunded without quibble
