Deplorable customer service
purchased my vehicle brand new from Volkswagen of Union NJ in 2018 Thisvehicle has only been serviced and repaired at Jack Daniels Volkswagon I have detailed service recordssince day 1 The last service on this vehicle was on 10 17 2024 I have the documents from this serviceappointment showing the vehicle had no codes no faults On 12 22 2024 my vehicle was legally parked inthe street outside my place of work My car was driving and functioning fine with no lights or warnings onmy dashboard 2 cars collided with each other and one of those cars involved in that accident slammedinto the rear of my parked car We filed a police report police came to the scene On my way home fromthe accident scene the car began having drivability issues and the check engine light came on Thefollowing day when I spoke to the insurance person handling my case I voiced my concern about thecheck engine light and the drivability issues This person assured me all would be taken care of care of atthe shop they recommended When I dropped my car off at Class A auto body in Hackensack NJ I toldthe gentleman taking care of me about my concerns regarding the check engine light and the drivabilityissues with the car This person assured me dont worry we will take care of everything Fast forward totoday I have a repaired vehicle with a check engine light and drivability issues The body shop claims theissues with the car have nothing to do with the accident The body shop reported this to the insuranceand the insurance has refused to cover the mechanical issues with the car Honestly it could be nothing asensor a relay or something I really dont know All I know is that prior to the accident my vehicle wasdriving perfect with no lights on the dash and I feel thats the way it should have been returned to me Orthey could have been transparent and gave me a choice to take my car elsewhere where I could ofgotten the service I required Also telling me the car was already not mechanically sound is an insult tomy person Its like calling me a liar something I do not take lightly I would like for this office to review therecorded phone calls with the insurance company It is recorded how deplorable they treated me Thespoke to me in a billittling and defensive manner one gentleman actually asked me to stop speakingbecause he didnt want to hear my story because he couldnt help me anyway I was even threatened tohave my car towed to a lot at my expense if I didnt go and pick up my car from the body shop Sobasically they forced me to receive a car I was not satisfied with the repair The car has drivability issuesand I do not know if my family is safe riding in that car I am extremely concerned and not at ease In aneffort to prove my point I contacted Jack Daniels Volkswagon and I asked them to email me the last 2service record reports showing they performed a diagnostic and none of the current issues with car cameup They still refused to cover the repair The gentleman I spoke to Jason said that on the internet he sawthat other Volkswagen owners have reported similar problems with thier cars I just feel like this is not ajust way to come to the determination of denying a claim Accidents and cars have to many variables tomany different factors can affect how a car responds to a collision While their scenario could very well beplausible that does not mean my scenario is not I can only speak from my experience and my vantagepoint The car had no issues and not it does I mean I just cant put it any other way I dont think what ishappening to me is fair and I would like your office to look into the situation and make sure everyone isdoing what they are supposed to do Please help me What do you consider to be a fair resolution My car was involved in an accident while legally parked inthe street I think a fair resolution is to give me my car back the way it was Driving fine with no checkengine light on The service records support my claim that the vehicle had no prior check engine ordrivability issues before the accident I am taking the vehicle to Jack Daniels Volkswagon service center Iam going to aske them to repair the vehicle and put it in the same exact condition it was prior to theaccident Nothing more nothing less I want no extras and I am not trying to get over on anyone I wouldlike for travlers insurance to cover the bill

RUN from this company
My agent s incompetence has happened over and over in a two-month period 1 The agent failed to call me back on the day of the accident The accident happened in the morning He had plenty of time in the day 2 I was not able to contact Travelers all day on the day of the accident I was on terminal hold 3 The agent called me back late Monday He failed to review what was covered in the policy and which companies Travelers had agreements with Therefore I rented a car from a non-preferred company My car was towed to an auto body shop that was not a preferred partner 4 When I called him back about the delay in getting my car fixed which was two and a half months He then told me to rent from Enterprise and that the car was not towed to a preferred auto repair shop He did agree to set up a rental from Enterprise but refused to have my car towed to a preferred shop 5 I asked him to set up the Enterprise rental with an ALL-WHEEL DRIVE car It was essential due to where I live The rental was later towed out of my driveway because it was not an AWD drive I checked with Enterprise They apologized but said the AWD had NOT been requested by the agent How bad does his customer service have to get before Travelers takes some responsibility The consequences of this were as follows 1 I incurred extra expenses because I rented from AVIS for a week 2 I incurred extra expenses because I had to find transportation to work for two and a half months minus the days Travelers covered the rental so a month and a half 3 I could have been injured or killed because the agent failed to request an all-wheel drive car 4 I am out of work and he can not get a simple check to me This will be his fifth attempt The issues were - Wrong Name Wrong Address Wrong Amount he issued a check without checking on the amount of funds I had left and Wrong Address again I appealed to his supervisor She was no help In fact she blamed me

Absolutely most frustrating insurance company on earth
Impossible company to work with Other reviews on YELP mirror mine on there I canceled my policy with them through my insurance agent so it was in writing and on a recorded phone call Still debiting my bank account for a policy that is non existent Hopped on another phone call with my insurance agent who recorded it again and now promised a return of monies by January 27th We shall see Next stop will be the Insurance Commission I suppose and a stop payment with my bank You cannot ever get through to them without your insurance agent and even then the truth is not a strong point of theirs I can t imagine having an actual claim They answer with the same canned response on YELP to all complaints no matter what it is

TRAVELERS SUCKS My wife and I had two incidents while covered by TRAVELERS They never fought for us and both times we were in the right First on I-40 a crazy woman tried to pass me in the median and hit our truck Second at a place we purchased feed one of their workers ran into the side of our truck with a hay squeeze to stop me from leaving after I said I was going elsewhere to buy feed That worker also threatened me and endangered my eight year old boy My older brother witnessed this incident Travelers didn t care Since then we have switched to an insurance company starts with a P wr pay half as much AGAIN TRAVELERS SUCKS

My thoughts are in line with most everyone else My agent could not have been slower to respond and could not have provided more misinformation Management needs to do a better job at training its staff in setting customer expectations It s a good bet that most people working with an insurance company are not in a good mood and being on the receiving end of poor service doesn t make them feel better

Travelers is awful While my agent is great they play the bait and switch game to perfection Quoted me a competitive rate so I switched from All State only to be given a 300 00 increase a few days after I paid for the year as they raised the value to rebuild my house from 570K to 845K They also include coverage I do not need additional structures that do NOT exist and 265K in personal property Scammers Unfortunately Insurance Companies are like car sales people none have integrity

Had the misfortune of getting hit by someone with Travelers car insurance After 3 months of my car being in the shop I still dont have it back Between incompetent adjusters who did not know what features my car had or didnt have and coming up with estimates nowhere near what it takes to put my car back to pre-accident condition now they ve sent the payment to the wrong shop My car is being held at the shop because of this Travelers refused to just send another payment and instead I was told I needed to wait for the stop payment to process before they pay the correct shop Complete lack of any competency Travelers did not offer a rental either while I wait for them to pay Shameful

I experienced two water-related damages
I experienced two water-related damages at my rental property one from roof wear and tear and another from a pipe feeding a spigot in the front yard Travelers denied coverage for the roof citing wear and tear so I had to cover the full replacement cost myself However they did cover the interior damage Five months later I filed a claim for the pipe issue Travelers informed me that filing two claims in the same year would result in a premium increase the following year Despite this I chose to proceed paid my deductible and had the repair done Eight months later I received an email stating that my policy would not be renewed because I had filed two water damage claims within a year When I called customer service for clarification asking why I was being penalized for unforeseeable events and why they continued sending mail to my old address despite multiple updates the only response I received was a dismissive These are our rules In the meantime I purchased a second property and moved my business elsewhere I will soon be switching my auto policy as well I will never do business with Travelers or its affiliates again
