we visited on the 17th September 2023 our daughters birthday she is in a wheelchair The wooden cut out is on a plynth and the base sticks out the other kids could put their heads through but not the birthday girl Left out and excluded for something so cheap and easy to remedy Disabled path is not long if you try to carry on another big hill The cafe we finished our meal before the salad came and in fact it never did The shop door unless you have someone with you you can t open it and hold the wheelchair no one came out to help The lay out of the cafe meant wheelchairs could not get to a table I also watched a woman with a pram struggle and a lady in a motorised wheelchair Very little to none thought given to disabled people Sadly we won t visit again When I asked the lady on the gate going into the forest could she please hold the gate for our daughters wheelchair she said its ok others will sorry its your job to help the disabled not hope others will I felt an inconvenience and a burden to them

I ve been several times throughout the years and it only gets worse There seems to be no investment into improving the site so they don t seem to be putting any of their proceeds back into the place My last visit I was confronted by 2 very rude members of staff one of which was to say Don t stare at the Monkeys And the next was laughing at my Daughter who was clearly distressed by being approached by this staff member I d like to recommend an actually family friendly establishment that you ll actually enjoy far more than this shambles Go to one of these places and I promise you you ll have a much better time - Hoo-Zoo in Telford- Adventure Farm in Burton on Trent- Chester Zoo in Chester

Very poor experience for my family

Very poor experience for my family wife and 2 babies went alone was asked to stop kids eating crisps and a sandwich which was adhered to but took a few mins to sort out as had nowhere to put it was aggressively approached and antagonised trying to hurry her up kids were distressed and they didn t seem to care just made up lies on the radio smirking to get her kicked out Seemed like it had a racial aspect to it no empathy displayed Terrible place to visit and the staff involved need to be sacked for treating a mum of 2 small kids like this Visit date was 30 08 2024 at approximately 12 25pm just in case you want to actually do something about it and not just reply to a review with nonsense We will surely be returning as one BIG family in due course

Love this place What a fab day out took some amazing pictures The monkeys were so close we just couldn t believe it Highly recommend

Entry fee was very reasonable awesome being so close to the monkeys lots of staff about who were very nice and helpful My GF and my daughter 13 loved it and even my son 18 enjoyed it

Staff are super friendly and very helpful all around the park and the facilities were nice and clean The monkeys are amazing you could watch them for hours

I went to the monkey forest and it was really good and crazy how close the monkeys get to you We didn t get there till around 3pm but was fine we were there just in time for feeding time so that was interesting and all the staff were polite and helpfulIt was something different but was really good and good value for money

A unique experience

A unique experience you can actually walk in amongst the monkeys and see them and watch their behaviour as they live free-range in the forest The whole thing is very well managed with keepers being on hand to explain - and to ensure the monkeys are not hassled by their human visitors
