I have purchased my first bandsaw which came with 3 4 blade I was struggling perform radial cuts I was also unhappy with unsightly bandsaw marks left when resawing 300mm wide oak which required fair amount of sanding to achieve smooth finish Looking on the internet to find new blades I was lost with all the different options with regards to materials TPI tooth pitch all of which is very confusing when starting out all I want to do at this stage is to play with my new saw and produce quality cuts the knowledge on saw blades I can learn as I go on I decided to look on forums as to what others are using and it appeared most where either using Tuffsaw blades or praising them and the company I decided to contact Tuffsaws and dealt with Ian who was very helpful and understanding of my lack of knowledge I explained what I was hoping to achieve and what materials I intend to work with he advised and provided me 3 different size blades that pretty much cover everything I can do on my bandsaw Blades arrived today 2 days from order and I headed straight to workshop to try them out and to say I am pleased is an understatement they cut like hot knife through butter and leave virtually no saw marks like my other blade did from well known brand Hand on heart I have never dealt with a company so dedicated to customer services as Tuffsaws and I deal with many running my own business If your thinking of buying new blades look no further than Tuffsaws you won t regret it Chris Parkinson
