Trip to Greece August 2021
In August 2021 our anticipated trip to Greece which was promised to include accommodations at a guaranteed 3-star hotel in close proximity to the beach with 24 7 support from TUI unfortunately culminated in a disappointing and stressful experience rather than the serene retreat we envisioned Despite our expectations and additional payments for certain amenities the hotel s management was severely lacking operated by a mere two-person team We encountered numerous unacceptable conditions the absence of regular cleaning services the lack of air conditioning amidst 40-degree Celsius weather the unavailability of a swimming pool restaurant and bar facilities as well as essentials such as toilet paper and hot water for showers Upon addressing these significant issues with TUI our concerns were met with an astonishing lack of response Despite numerous attempts to contact them through various channels our efforts to reach a resolution were consistently ignored leaving us without any form of recourse It was only after several months of persistent communication that TUI offered a nominal refund of 1 7 a gesture that did little to compensate for the considerable inconveniences faced This experience was not unique to us other guests at the hotel who had booked their stay through TUI reported similar neglect and dissatisfaction It became apparent that the company was aware of the hotel s deficiencies but continued to market the trip without adjusting the description or price to reflect the reality of the services provided This deliberate misrepresentation indicates a profound disregard for customer satisfaction and ethical business practices highlighting a pattern of behavior where concerns are systematically dismissed post-reporting

Heard that Tui are having problems
Heard that Tui are having problems getting customers cases on the plane and they are left without luggage all their holiday How can this be They are a holiday company and folks have been travelling for years How can it be so hard to get the case on board If you can t manage it why are they trading

I would put minus stars
I would put minus stars and we haven t even gone on the holiday yet Trying to get any information from this company is impossible I want to make a change to my reservation using Manage My Booking - computer says no I try to phone - I hold on for 45 minutes without being answered enough what a joke I try live chat - computer says do you want to wait I say yes computer says goodbye So Tui sent an email attaching boarding passes - they are not attached They changed the flight to a very late departure coming back which is horrible but doesn t count as a significant change if it did I would cancel I would like to book a late check out but can t Just have no confidence in them at all

Once the holiday is paid you re on your own
You would think TUI had a duty of care to their Cusomers especially when they are injured due to poor health and safey in a resort holiday they sold Nope nothing Despite the reps being aware I had suffered an accident and it was down to poor health and safety standards in the hotel they didn t want to know You re left to get on with it Not even the curtesy of a message to ask If I was ok Shocking service

Awful holiday in a shoddy hotel
Awful holiday in a shoddy hotel No TUI rep no customer care I remember travelling with Thomas Cook a decade ago and vowing never to travel with them again TUI are now in the same place As with TC I would expect them to go bust at least in the UK in a year or two

The hotel ratings are not accurate
We used to buy travel packages from TUI at least once a year but this one will be the last one The hotel ratings are not accurate you expect a 5-star experience but you get a maximum of 3-4 stars The pictures on the tui dk do not match reality and feeling cheated every time will no longer happen Goodbye TUI

Awful company
Awful company delayed flight home which was eventually cancelled as staff had flown over the hours required 3 children left sleeping on suitcase as 2am waiting to a transfer to a hotel for the night flight next day had paid to sit with children but had all been placed separately around the plane and was told change of aircraft was why seats had changed so why are you charging people for something you can t fulfil Compensation form rejected as claim passenger was ill although we had been told that morning flight was delayed What was you doing waiting for the person to have a full recovery Never using again totally ruined the holiday

They are useless and don t speak
They are useless and don t speak English they promise to call within 3 days and never do 5 different times they have said they will review calls and get back to me I visited shop of tui and spoke to a lovely lady who tried 3 times to call and got 3 different answers She was embarrassed and said her customer services has given her 3 different stories and she s embarrassed to say they will call in 3 days 4 days passed went again they not listened to any calls and guess what said they need 3 days I ve had email to say they are keeping my 2k deposit as I ve not paid in full STAY AWAY

TERRIBLE FIRM NOT RECOMMENDED
Terrible firm Had questions before holiday emailing not possible Tried to phone gave up after waiting first day managed to get through on second day after waiting 45mins Link to both seat booking and online checking did not work had to go direct to SASTold by local quide Johanna that it was our problem when SAS cancelled our flight home not Tui s problem We felt and were totally abandoned in Croatia by Tui NEVER EVER AGAIN TERRIBLE COMPANY
