They downgraded credit rating
Transunion downgraded my credit rating when I opened a new current account with Santander I used the current account switching service but when my old current account was closed 2 weeks later they did not restore my original rating What is even more bizarre is my old account had an agreed overdraft facility which I never used but the new one doesn t I think they make up the ratings as they go along they bear no resemblance to your actual financial position

This company cannot keep accurate
This company cannot keep accurate records to save their lives I printed out my free credit report to see why my credit with them is so low 636 when experian and my Bank scres are around 677 first of all there is 33 inquiries on my credit report I don t even know who these companies are This company has to do a 360 and get our information correct since when you buy something or apply for credit they go by Transunion credit score Terrible company that should not be permitted to track our credit Also my credit report shows nothing but Green which means I pay on time and no missed payments

Absolutely terrible I have not been able to access my account for years because I forget my information They ask me security which I answer correctly and then tell me it s wrong News flash I know if I ve ever had any other last names I havent

Transunion
Transunion is the most screwed up organization I have EVER dealt with Why bother calling them when they run you in circles have and won t give you an information EVEN with your complete verification Using their online chat is even worse There is no way an average human can type a response fast enough to not have the chat disconnect What is wrong with the morons that run Transunion If I rate them with a minus 100 I would And use every four letter word to describe them

The information they provide is wrong
The information they provide is wrong - in my case they are stating I have missed paying gas bills which are actually the responsibility of a long term tenant in a property I own Now my previously perfect credit score is showing me as a bad risk and I will have to spend time resolving Fools

Incompetent company
They should not be in charge of people s credit scores The will literally take points away for you doing the right thing and paying off your credit card balance on time That goes against their own rules Credit cannot be built if they are doing the exact opposite of what they are suppose to be doing I do wonder if this only happens to free memberships so they can pretend it can be fixed with a paid member ship it would not surprise me No one wants the government in charge but this is an example of how only changing the legislature will make these crooks behave Only mass complaints to cfpb ftc will trip the eye in the sky to get a lawsuit going but then again it did nothing for us when equifax screwed us so who knows

TransUnion not fit for Government contracts
The UK Government is using TransUnion to verify people s identity when seeking Covid-19 tests I ve lived at the same address for 25 years and provided my NI number email etc and TransUnion failed to verify my identity They are hopeless and not fit for Government s contract

No access to my info or score criteria
Tried to set up a website account after my TU Fico dropped 25 points with no changes on my record in any credit bureau Called several times for support on the last call I was tied up for over 1 hour Every call requires entering a bunch of details on the keypad waiting and ultimately spending a long time with incompetent support people First guy tried to unlock account and didn t work Second escalated tech guy did the same things still did not work of course Next day it worked once and now it is locked again and it s pointless spending an hour with some outsources support in some foreign country without inside system access to know what to do I asked about the score drop and they could not give any reason for that Which makes these scores arbitrary by definition I m not fond of any of these places but I have to say the other two bureaus and FICO were all much more functional with reasonable to good support I see that TU has a score significantly lower that the other two on this site No surprise So I cannot access my credit information on the website They dropped my score and nobody can explain why And nobody can do anything even if they want to and it s not clear they do

TransUnion is the worst Credit
TransUnion is the worst Credit Reporting Agency I have been trying to update my file for over a month I wanted to remove erroneous phone numbers that I have never had After they asked me to identify myself with my name SSN address phone number and email they asked me to authenticate myself by asking me three random questions Wait a minute I just authenticated myself by giving you all the previous information you asked for The information I gave them pulled up my file So I am confused Okay ask the questions The first question was Which one of these phone numbers have you used One of the numbers was the phone number on my file that I have never had so I said none The other two questions were just as absurd The customer service representative said I failed to answer correctly and she could not help me What I asked which question I answered incorrectly she said she could not tell me Are you kidding me I asked her if you can t tell me why ask me questions to authenticate myself anyway when I already gave you correct information to find my file She hung up on me I will file a complaint There should be a class-action lawsuit against this terrible company

I can t say enough bad things about Transunion they are the worst of the worst businesses that I have dealt with The sub-human people people humans at Transunion treat their customers like parasites Transunion will do everything that they can to extinguish you - - Transunion s CUSTOMER - - like a parasite I am a recent victim of Identity Theft associated with Ticketmaster Ticketmaster has enrolled their injured clients in Transunion s Credit Monitoring Service Trueidentity In my first brush with Trueidentity Transunion I followed the instructions that were provided to me by Ticketmaster to enroll in Trueidentity Transunion s credit monitoring service via their website That resulted in my first roadblock with Trueidentity Transunion a website that said that Trueidentity Transunion was no longer enrolling new members I wondered how could that be I just received a letter from Ticketmaster directing me to Trueidentity Transunion s website Then I called the phone number that Trueidentity Transunion provided me on their website I called that number the phone was answered and I was directed to press one for English I pressed 1 and my call was disconnected I did this 5 times over 1 hour Then I called the Consumer Relations phone number for Transunion Same thing Press 1 for English and got disconnected MULTIPLE TIMES What a scam of an unscrupulous business that Transunion is
