Greedy incompetent thieves

I ve been a seller there for more than 10 years and I just removed all my content because although the royalties have always been poor for sellers the site has gone downhill in many other aspects too in the last years They only give you 40 of royalties on your models unless you sell exclusively on their site Their reviews to certify the models are highly incompetent I guess they have low wage juniors working there Totally made up copyright infringements claims even on designs created by you VERY WEAK response by customer service on reportings of stolen content on their site I guess it doesn t matter for them as long as they make a profit Don t support this company there are many others out there selling 3D assets and much more honest than Turbosquid

Stealing from Artists

I ve been selling on Turbosquid for several years and its just come to the stage where its terrible for creators They take 60 of every sale from creators and seem to think this is just In the past I could offset the loss by increasing prices but now they price lock everything to prevent you from doing that I ve now stopped uploading products to Turbosquid altogether and removed my high value products Its completely unreasonable to treat your creators so badly when they built the platform for you If you are looking to buy 3D models look for the same products on other platforms like CGTrader and buy from there the cost doesn t change for you and it makes a world of difference to us creators

They asked for my driver s license before I could download my purchase Scam Avoid

I just wanted a 10 model to experiment with in Blender Chose one added to Shopping Cart paid and then got a message that I d have to wait ten minutes to download my purchase because it is being reviewed I then got an email asking me to send upload a jpeg of my driver s license which they would then additionally review for a measly 10 purchase I ve been making purchase online for over 10 years and never once been asked to send ID through for verification before they ll release the product I ve just bought I went to a similar site purchased and downloaded a similar and cheaper model all within a minute TurboSquid - Clearly a SCAM AVOID

As others said they get 60 of the price which is really robbing as the costs for holding up some servers are FAR LOWER than that Also a couple weeks ago they took 8 dollars from my account in an automatic payment I tried to see if there was a buy that I forgot about in those days but I couldn t find a list of items bought anywhere on their site This is by far the worst site I know of a certain relevance and I hope that they will lose all the clients and close because robbing 60 of people s work is really horrible

avoid turbo squid

my deceased husband has been selling on turbo squid After he died I wanted to close his account I received a very friendly reply that convinced me to keep the account open I sent all the reqired documents and informations but never got any anwer money or support again In the following years I tried severel times to get in contact and close the account Nobody ever answerd or helped me I do suggest to everbody to avoid turbo squid

Its a bad website in many ways Let me explain

Terrible website UI looks outdated is unorganized Stupid agreements on every single thing you can imagine for example showcase image size has to be specific no borders on image and then all the stupid agreements they have with thousands of brands and they just take out your models out of nowhere 3Dexport and CGtraders are one million times better plus youll make way more money since the royalties are way better they rob half your money and I always make more money with the other sites cause they have better conversions

Turbo SQUID is a terrible company they literally will take money for an 3D model you pay for and not give you the item There customer service sucks even more chat support online is useless no number to contact anyone and if you call all you get is an answering service Many good things come out of Louisiana but TurboSquid is not one of those things they are a terrible company in every sense of the word use other means to buy 3d models not TurboSquid

3 payoneer transfer fee being taken out of artists pocket after december 2021 Shame on turbosquid as they already didn t take a lot

They take a huge portion of our earning and I noticed that after December they our making us pay the 3 payoneer fees for transferring artist earnings to payoneer They are just greedy thieves Cgtrader pays the transfer fees for payoneer That is a very unfair move by turbosquid they should stop being so greedy and reconsider this

Scammers I lost my account and models

I am a 3d artist and sold many 3d models on this site then they suddenly closed my account without any reason or warning and removed my 3d models I tried to contact the support team multiple times but they didn t reply I made a second account and they did this to me again without even informing me about the reason So kindly stay away from these scammers it is a fruitless waste of time
