I found tutor doctor when I was searching online for IGCSE tutor for my year 11 child I was so desperate at that time to find a good tutor And tutor doctor was a life saver First they had to interview my child to understand what learning method is best for her and to find a matching teacher Luckily the teacher was the best She helped my child to progress very well in a short time I regret the time I have wasted before looking for someone to help my child in science My daughter got back her confidence and progressed really well There are 2 things I wish tutor doctor can do First to post Ads on social media so more parents would know about them Second to be more flexible with the number of classes needed by different individuals

Highly personalised and effective tutoring

We had an initial meeting which looked at our child s needs in detail We were told that a tutor would be found who would match our child s needs not just academically but someone who would be able to draw the best out of them In other words the tutor s personality would also be taken into account We were a little cynical about this but were absolutely delighted with the outcome Daphne s gentle and encouraging approach helped rapidly develop an excellent rapport with our child who had lost all confidence and interest in maths It was very heartening to see this change and our child s confidence and enthusiasm grow In addition Daphne soon identified our child s strengths and focussed on developing these which was morale-boosting In this way the tutoring was personalised to our child and we are very grateful for the support our child received

Great support in developing understanding knowledge and confidence

We searched for a few weeks to find a tutor for our Son as he was struggling in English language due to the change of teachers in his school in his most important year he started to struggle so we needed to get help immediately Enquired with Tutor Doctor they responded straight away and within a week we had a Tutor assigned and he is now on his 7th lesson and has definitely showed signs of improvement and is understanding thing better Hopefully by the end of his sessions he will obtain a higher grade than what was expected at the beginning of term Very friendly and helpful tutor my son feels so comfortable with him Definitely recommend

The Best Decision

Liz has been tutoring my girls aged 8 and 5 for almost six months now and the results have been amazing My 5 year old has a diagnosis of ASD and Liz has been able to engage her in learning through play and creativity in a way no in else has been able to She is now testing above her peers in number and letter recognition This is something I would not have thought possible a year ago My 8 year old loves Liz and the one on one instruction has helped her to be more confidant in both math and literacy Liz is both patient and reassuring and both girls routinely ask me if it s a Liz day because they look forward to her coming To sum it up I can t recommend Liz and Tutor Doctor enough Thank you
