Customer Support team helpful
Had an issue with my email client not connecting to the hosting service - I d accidently removed the password in the client settings No worries - password details kept in a secure app on home pc Oh dear - I d not updated it when I last changed the password And to add to my woes same applied when I tried to access the uk2 control panel And what email did I have tied to the hosting account So I couldn t reset control panel password Opened a ticket explaining situation and started receiving emails from Shaheen in CS - excellent Comms throughout explaining what were the next options and why and what route did I want to take Upshot is I got back into my account and able to reconnect my email client and at no point did I feel security was being bypassed everything was done to verify me as account holder but get me back into the account as soon as possible Top marks

13 days of frustration ended well
It has always been a good experience for me with uk2 since March 7 2011 until they recently performed the migration to StackCP I understand it wasn t an easy step would not belittle the efforts of the support team for just one issue that has occurred over 13 years of satisfaction After a lot of troubleshooting the issue seems to be that new ns records are not propagating to one of my country s DNS servers this prevented me from accessing my http ftp and ssh services Greetings to Mesut who understood my problem and worked hard to solve itEverything is running smoothly now I have one suggestion to UK2 regarding shared hosting plans In addition to the storage limit can you please include RAM CPUs IO etc which can be very helpful when recommending uk2 to others Thank you all

Perfect support experience
Wow I ve been fretting about a swap over of domain names for a week I ve had several different support engineers give me options including backup and restore which I can do I m ex tier 3 support but this isn t my area Then I went on chat with Owais I explained the problem I got immediate responses on how to do it and clear details Then I got the offer of having it done for me DNS changes redirectors sorted SSL sorted I COULD have done all of it but it would have taken me hours and probably 5 more support tickets That s just superb customer service that helped me get the right result AND stop colleagues from getting support tickets with not all the back story Nice one
