I had my Lens Replacement surgery at
I had my Lens Replacement surgery at the Cardiff Clinic in January 2022 My prescription was complex with a -10 in the left and -9 in the right with an Astigmatism and dry eyes The surgery was completed by Dr Darcey who is an absolute genius The dry eyes were resolved prior to the surgery with a prescription organised by Dr Darcey The surgery was a success and the next day I was at driving standard I have just had an annual sight test and I didn t require any correction I couldn t fault any of the process The staff at Cardiff were fantastic throughout the whole process from the initial consultation to the aftercare If you re in any doubt about having this surgery then don t it s one of the best things I have ever done The only issue you should be aware of is that you will need a little extra light when doing things like threading a needle but other than that it s amazing Thank you Ultralase

A much less daunting experience than anticipated
Clean bright and friendly reception Everyone kindly and good communication Initial consultation relaxed and informative Felt no pressure to proceed Nurse administering drops was friendly and reassuring Mr Darcy put me at ease and the procedure was more relaxed and less tense than I had anticipated and took less time than I had feared Am delighted with the results Glasses now discarded Just sorry I didn t get the chance to thank Mr Darcy for what he has done for me and for making me feel confident about a procedure I was anxious over

From the first consultation in Belfast through to my aftercare appointment I was really well taken care of The ladies are friendly helpful and professional The surgeon had a lovely manner and I felt safe I would not hesitate in recommending the Belfast branch

Staff are very friendly asking if all was ok while I wait my turn and the surgeon was very calm talked me through every step of what he was doing when he was correcting my eyes would 100 recommend ultralase

Happy to recommend
Every member of staff was extremely caring and treated me like a long-time friend There was no pain during the procedure cataract removal both eyes The aftercare was and is exceptional It took just 20 minutes and the cost was 5 5k which is amazing for a brand new pair of eyes - I can see better now than I ever remember Bottom line - I wouldn t hesitate to recommend the Cardiff clinic
