Incredibly good customer service

I have purchased a couple of items from Ultra Lightweight over the years and always had good experiences with their whole shopping experience process A standout for me however was when I contacted them a few years after purchasing my tent when a pole had snapped my fault not the tents or theirs and I asked if they could help me find a replacement Within only a few hours of sending my first email I had a reply saying they had been into their warehouse to see what they could find and they had found exactly what I needed They double checked my address from my original order and it was in the post before the end of the day Given how much time had passed since I bought the tent they had no requirement to help me however not only chose to but were absolute rapid in doing so They might not be cheap but everything they sell is top quality kit and their team is one of the best I ve come across anywhere

MSR Universal 2 Footprint happy with purchase

The 43 00 MSR Universal 2 Footprint from Ultralight Outdoor Gear was shipped and arrived very promptly The footprint is a replacement for my home made footprint which I have misplaced in the house somewhere The 43 versus the cost of buying materials non-rip sheet glue eyelet cord etc and the time taken to cut glue and stitch the footprint together The 43 cost of the footprint isn t that much more than the cost of making one Plus it is less bulky than the home made version - it was fun to make one Very happy with the purchase It is great that they offer the customer a variety of shipping methods Evri Royal Mail DPD of DHL I wish more online retailers would offer this choice It enabled me to avoid Evri who are unreliable in my area For this alone I am more likely to return for more purchases I have always been happy with the range of products from Ultralight Outdoor Gear I don t always go for the lightest the weights are a handy description feature and their prices are reasonable as I do shop around It is a shame they don t accept the Blue Light Card The speed of shipping is good

Now my go to for outdoor gear

Ordered a few things from this company over the last year and I can t fault them They have a pretty good range of stock including stuff that can be quite hard to find elsewhere at least in the UK Their prices are pretty good some of their items you might find slightly cheaper elsewhere but not many or by much Their delivery is essentially free over 15 and fast They also use Royal Mail which for me is a big plus Had absolutely no issues and would certainly recommend them

Used UOG a few times now and every time dispatch and delivery has been super quick and the gear has been exactly as described I ll be using them regularly

Easy to use website all items weighed

The website is easy to use I like its emphasis on weight which is important for me before I make a choice So far so good I have raised questions about the contact of a courier which has I believe has nothing to do with this store
