Valspar DURAMAX Paint at LOWEs is crappy paint

Valspar DURAMAX 365 Paint sold through Jackson Michigan Lowes Stores does NOT match from bucket to bucket and they cannot match it different shades even though same paint code NEVER BUY VALSPAR PAINT especially FROM LOWES as they refuse to resolve the matter

1st batch of cabot deck stain peeled off got a refund bought again after was told need to sand decksanded deck and pressure washed and after 2 months and a few heavy rains the crap is peeling off again will take back for another refund would not recommend Cabot deck colors have spend way to much time with this product not to get reimbursed for my time spent working on the deck dont waste your money look for other brands

Despite a not so glowing review I posted regarding the issues I had with paint customer service etc I still haven t heard anything Yet you wanted to have the chance to put it right I sent you my details as requested but still nothing Shocking

Valspar Cedar NaturalTone Transparent Stain Sealer Poor Quality

Bought the Valspar Cedar NaturalTone Transparent Exterior Stain and Sealer for my deck It said it was rain ready in 6 hours I never cut it that close It was a week before it rained It looked good when I first applied it but every time it rained some of the stain washed off I tried applying another coat but the sealer part would not allow the second coat to adhere to the wood It was as if the stain washed off but the sealer part stayed My deck was only 5 years old and was in good shape I followed all the recommended prep steps I even used their All-In-One Wood Prep I tried to leave a review on Valspar s website but it wasn t allowing that option I contacted the company and they said they could see reviews on their end so it must be something wrong with my computer I tried two different computers and two different phones I think they have had so many bad reviews that they turned off that feature Most of my deck is covered overhead and not exposed to the weather but everywhere the rain could reach left the deck splotchy where some of the stain washed off I had never used Valspar before and will never use it again
