What a load of crap

What a load of crap Alarm system itself is quite good the GPS unit on the other hand is absolutely useless you can t even have the radio on low without the GPS unit ringing you I ve messaged Vanolarm many many times about this I ve had 3 replacement units as they are cheap and faulty customer service is a waste of time I ve explained that even setting the alarm triggers GPS to ring me just shutting the door triggers it to ring me even kids playing in the street opposite my van triggers it I m convinced a moth could set it off It s just a cheap an nasty useless piece of kit I emailed Vanolarm and asked how do I stop the alarm triggering and ringing me when I shut the door and set the alarm their reply was turn the GPS unit on once the alarm is set but that is physically not possible it can only be turned on inside the van Be Warned Vanolarm are Con MenThe system is just cheap Chinese rubbish rebranded as Vanolarm

Avoid Vanolarm

This company is a joke there customer service is poor and product is overpriced Gps unit is a joke doesn t work SIM card slot doesn t accept SIM card properly and SIM card gets stuck so bad I had to return gps unit for them to say I have damaged it so no longer covered on warranty so had to buy another one for another 78 00 guess what this one doesn t work either I have sent the second one back now and I have been ignored after Email after email I wish I had done my research properly on this product and to find out you can buy the same product on Amazon for far far cheaper Avoid don t fall for the salesman crap on the website I have lost in excess of over 259 00 including buying another Gps unit AVOID AVOID AVOID

Bought new vanolarm system

Bought new vanolarm system before fitting I went to familiarise myself with the alarm and install new high quality batteries I opened one box and had nightmares trying to open the unit tried to use the supplied blue plastic tool which just got damaged I m an electrician and have opened many a box but could not open this without causing damage so I gave up as not to cause damage which would have caused problems trying to return As I didn t want to enter into these problems from day one I requested a return Now the fun starts The supplier tried telling me they ve not had a lot of these problems I sent the entire package back When they received the units back they tried telling me there was more damage to the parts when I had only opened one box they then said I complained about the network signal that I couldn t hear the alarm and I said the alarm didn t work This was all rubbish because I hadn t even got that far with the system to find these problems They are trying to give me a partial refund I have requested back a full refund or I feel I might have to get trading standards involved So much for their no quibble guarantee

Absolute rubbish for the money paid

Absolute rubbish for the money paid out Difficult to get the GPS tracker to work the instructions are poor The door alarms do not link to the app and are a glorified shed alarm Difficult to link the remotes so you don t have any working spares once you link all door alarms to one single remote Difficult to get the battery compartment open This is a genuine review not a made up one as per Vanolarms website comment stating all trustpilot reviews for Vanolarm are fake Waste of good money Lack of support Not even loud when mounted next to the drivers window LOL I tried to leave feedback on their website twice they delete 1 reviews Goes to show that they only want to show the best reviews not the accurate reviews

generally is all wrong with product is simply nowhere near what you really expecting just way to quiet to work as any deterrent sensors on doors they work independently instead when one is triggered boost each other make much more noise tracking and calling unit has gigantic connectivity issues when closed in van and inclosed by metal shell just stragglers to connect to network that is why very rarely is able to do what should do wast of time and money stay away from it check reviews before purchase no costumer service land line so no one to talk to just email

Very poor quality

Very poor quality first unit was faulty and was going off every 2 minutes whilst I was driving so I was sent a different one which occasionally went off whilst I was driving but never if I tried to set it off to check it was working Wrote an email to the company saying how disappointed I was but never got a response An alarm is something you need to fully trust and I would never trust this I ve now thrown it away

This product is so bad

This product is so bad when you have an issue all they do is send you the returns information for you to return their absolutely shocking product back to them for them to test and replace They are not available to speak to and take weeks to respond It s that bad that you can t even talk inside the vehicle without it constantly alerting you AVOID AVOID They don t have reviews on their website that are live or genuine otherwise I d have started clear I ve only found all this info after having had a bad experience and delving deeper Wish I d been warned

Only false alarms so far

In the last month alone 31 false alarms and 0 real alarms This says enough It keeps on waking me up at night distracting my work I have a camera in the van every time I get a phone call to say the alarm is triggered I check the camera and audion and there s no indication of the alarm going off Such an annoying piece of equipment and you can t even adjust the sensitivity

Don t waste your money on this shower

Absolutely shocking customer service don t respond to messages and when they do they are bordering on rude the fact there is no telephone number should have been a warning sign Not interested in doing anything to support their customers only extracting more money from them at every opportunity On top of this the units are cheaply made and fragile they won t stand up to many battery changes Save your money and get something decent from a company that cares about their customers
