Horrible experience There was no confirmation email sent to the main box nor spam waited and refreshed after 24 hours so I couldn t use the service even if I credited the account with 10 So basically useless Also I forgot my password and after trying to reset my password the button reset doesn t work on multiple browsers Don t use it

Good intentions and pricing poor execution

Good intentions and pricing but so far so-so execution My custom Docker image did not let me use GPU in TF or PyTorch and yet the site info said it should be compatible not with newer CUDA drivers no - it cannot be as these drivers are not backward compatible My custom Jupyter token did not work and they did not know why They auto-generated Jupyter token even though I specified my own with a properly set env variable The SSH tunnel option did not work the machines refused SSH connections I got disconnected after a mere hour of working because the PC which it was with a GPU that had an actual fan - meaning retail hardware not a proper datacenter GPU double-check please if you are not violating NVIDIA s hardware licensing agreements by hosting retail hardware like that in a mock-datacenter fashion Anyway I pressed report this machine button and it went up again soon so I did not suffer any data loss maybe the PC s Jupyter notebook server or other system server simply went down which the website reported in a very hysterical manner that the machine was no longer part of their network A notch better SLA than an anonymous proxy because you have actual tech support Extra star given for the CUDA driver compatibility tests that I managed to conduct the info provided on each server is very detailed e g on max CUDA version I hope these are just budding problems and they will get better soon Update I ve tested also the Interruptible instances Waited until I got outbid for cheapest instances it happens after an 1 hour or so Then tried to transfer the data out from the stopped instance you pay for storage of non-running instances precisely for that reason using the Copy functionality having spinned up another instance as target It failed with Invalid input format error - I had a text file JSON and a binary file a JPEG So don t choose these instances if you value your data until such bugs are fixed - if you get outbid you won t be able to access your data anymore unless you wait for it to be returned by the person who outbid you which I did Update I was unable to make my containers work with their service because of non-standard execution mechanisms these containers work perfectly under both docker and k8s They still kept charging me even though I could not log in I subtracted 1 star for being unable to withdraw my money you have to pre-pay at least 5 USD - I paid 10 - and there is no self-service way to get the unused balance back I subracted one more start for the age of this service I ve found out that it is now 5 years old and it s still full of bugs Piotr Inny 15 pa dziernika 2018 8 26 amTa us uga to faktycznie beta niestety pe na bug w

Worst service and support I have ever had renting anything ever That s weird given how often I rent stuff They will blame you or accuse you of things just to avoid refunding you Getting a refund nearly impossible A second account was opened but in my name and using the same details Being technically uneducated i thought that would resolve matters We also wanted to determine if issues would be resolved if a different account was used i also wanted wanted evidence as they delete messages once chat ends and so I didn t get much by way of snap shots I have some that show their conduct merely wanted more But the same issues persisted and more so I know several people who have had similar experiences based in other countries in their hundreds None of them have complained many have simply changed service but I did not because such services are hard to find in Europe With regards to Vast ai I approached them for technical support on many occasions but they refused to help Their responses consistently were the machine is ok or you should chose a verified machine Yet most if not all my machines were varified When 70 pounds was offered i accepted it because they told me that no refunds were available and that s the maximum they are allowed to give me Their machines would stop working for a significant part of the night and day and yet they would charge me I would destroy them virtually to avoid storage charges which never stopped even when their machines were not working For the entire term They will never admit wrong doing and instead will blame you as a customer just because they want to keep your money at any cost This experience is not mine alone it is the experience of many There are people in their discord raising these concerns I am getting testimonials from people who have had similar experiences with them I will be ready for them They are not acting in good faith The product or service is not fit for purpose and is certainly not as described And yet they have kept my money That s not honest Blaming me is silly They also kept taking money from my bank account long after i reduced the threshold to zero Their explanation was that their system had just been updated I had to block them with my bank This too made opening an account necessary My experience was unpleasant and didn t want a repeat I also didn t want them to tartget me through their chats They had already demonstrated a determination to blame a customer for their incompetent service Their service is not fit for purpose nor as described I am the one who even told them the other account is mine by seeking their help No restrictions exist that I can t have another account I used my name and the same address albeit I was getting help Nobody was trying to hide The fraud allegation is a smoke screen to hide the fact that my bank is asking them to disprove my claims They can win this if they show that I am lying They know that I am not Not an honest bunch I have 2 accounts and not multiple Making it seem like I have ten No refund offered they now claim How can that be lawful or right when you offered a defective service They will keep your money even if their machines don t work and I am the one committing fraud Make that make sense to me I am not disputing all charges I spent thousands there Merely a few that didn t work They have just posted my personal information here namely my emails This business is vile and criminal Was just in their discord and there are other people there raising the same concerns Trust pilot has found that they posted personal information about me They have deleted their post But will reply to defend nonsense and dishonest conduct Simply put don t charge me for providing a defective service Subscription merely means I had your services for a fee They didn t work but you charged me for that period I disputed nearly all but not all and rightly so I will update this when the process is over Been attacked by them for the last 2 hours None stop

Watch out when you use this service they will keep charging when you stop the service and for me it was not clear that that was the case so I had to pay even if i didn t use the service could not get a refund or anything really disappoining and such a waste

If you use verified machines then it s an amazing and cheap service

Non verified machines may be bad offering bad connections and may be unavailable once rebooted hence the many bad reviews For this reason I suggest you to only stick with verified datacenters I rented an A4000 GPU for many hours and I ve never had any problems with internet speed or availability The price is very convenient at about 0 16 h Nothing to complain about for me it was essential to train some DL models at a small price Very recommended
