They have some crappy search filters
They have some crappy search filters If you see a dog you like too bad if they don t match you you cannot contact the owner I specify small size and I still get a bunch of oversized dogs in my listings The ones I do want smaller all blocked I have seen some listed for almost a year It makes me wonder if some of the listings are fake

Do not adopt an animal from this organisation I work with dogs and have now met several animals from this organisation and I am absolutely outraged by their practices and think they should be shut down They lie in the descriptions so the animals seem more ok than they are to make it easier to adopt them first of all Massive red flag Then they don t vet people properly before housing the animals so will place very difficult dogs with severe behavioural issues with humans with zero experience or appropriate temperament for the needs of the dog Then no follow ups or support All this leads to traumatising the animals further being sent back over and over again because they keep being placed in homes that can t handle them Which of course they charge money for every time also Wildly unfair and abusive towards already sensitive animals when I m guessing the point of the organisation is to help Please avoid There s many other serious and competent organisations that genuinely care enough to do their job properly Boiling angry about this one

Lovely caring people and great service
Their initiatives are not only effective but also deeply rooted in the needs of the populations they serve I joined them for a summer camp program aimed at underprivileged children and I was blown away by the level of organization and enthusiasm from both the staff and the kids The kids were not only learning they were building confidence and friendships that will last a lifetime I saw firsthand how these experiences positively influenced their self-esteem and aspirations They constantly seek feedback from the community to improve their services ensuring they remain relevant and impactful

Great website
We adopted our beautiful and fun 7 month old kitten we have had her for 3 months now and just love her She is now part of the family and the sweetest little ball of energy She was a rescue from Cyprus and we were so happy to give her a forever home The process was super smooth and I would recommend verhuisdieren to anyone looking for a new pet Not only are you getting a new friend you are helping an animal in need
