Viltrox Field Monitor Lite felt cheap and plasticky Also didn t include the correct Micro HDMI cable Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced Contacted the seller directly via email due to missing incorrect cables within the box After countless efforts of emailing and using their live chat function on their website the seller refused to help despite the website stating replacements are available The item should ve been covered under warranty but no desire to help Returned shortly after

They hand out automated fake tracking numbers

Purchased a DC 550 PRO field monitor and after a day got a order shipped confirmation email with a tracking number The fedex tracking number turned out to be non existent so I wrote support to ask what is all of this about and turns out the product was out of stock I agreed to wait for it to come back in stock and asked for them to update me as soon as it s back in stock and when they will ship it None of this happened I had to keep on writing support to get any updates Support representatives most of the time are seemingly not English speakers and do not understand what you re asking of them Viltrox products are definitely good for the price but I would advise to order them from somewhere else than from viltroxstore com

Viltrox EF-M2II speed booster Focalreducer for Canon EF lenses to MFT cameras

This review is my experience using the Viltrox EF-M2II speed booster Focalreducer for Canon EF lenses to MFT cameras I mounted the the adapter on my OM-1 camera and a vintage lens with its thin adapter The camera screen flickered and was unusable I tried to tape over the rounded pins on the adapter so that no EXIF could be used And this worked The adapter was at least usable now And no problem with vintage lenses adapted to Canon EF I contacted Viltrox support by mail 2 years ago No answer Now I found a FB group and contacted their Messenger And I got an answer that showed they didn t even read my post But sent me a compatibility list of lenses where AF works This is not the problem Very poor product support

Customer support leaves a lot to be desired

I bought a Viltrox DC-550 lite field monitor from Amazon and the item itself has NO issues but the Viltrox customer support leaves a lot to be desired The day it arrived it had a card inside advising how to find firmware patches online I then went to the website it directs you to and there was none listed Something I found surprising but it might be possible none exist despite reviews mentioning firmware updates To check I emailed Viltrox to ask if a firmware update was available for my device and where might I find it The response was ridiculous I was told that because I had not bought the item from them directly they could offer NO support and on top of that to contact Amazon for help As if Amazon would have firmware patches available for an item they haven t manufactured They might but I d be astounded While this may not seem a major issue to some people when you re buying expensive equipment you need to know you can update the firmware to ensure it continues working I ve never known any other company to hide firmware patches away from people just because they didn t buy an item direct from them Firmware patches are normally available free to download from a manufacturers website without issue Compare this to Neewer or Osee as brands when you search online both offer easy-to-find and downloadable firmware updates for their competitive field monitors No hassle or headache I m very tempted to return this item to Amazon because it otherwise means I have an expensive piece of equipment which I can t fix or patch if issues arise which is a shame because it s otherwise working fine

Buyer BEWARE

As with others they took my money and replied that the address was a fraud Its my Damn Home address Who cares what address was given they got their money so who cares where you send it THEY GOT PAID N RAN BUYER BEWARE OF THIS MERCHANTBuy the unit from a reputable seller if you want their products They could have googled my address and it would show who owns and lives the address I provided I only wish they could be Revoked from selling direct to consumers and only to legit businesses ONLY Again BUYER BEWARE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR CASHThink twice because Viltrox is making bank because you receive nothing and than GHOSTED GOOD LUCK

Absolute scammers I received an empty box without the camera monitor I purchased They stopped answering my chat messages on all platforms including by email

Appalling customer service and delivery

They send stuff from China to EU in ordinary post that takes weeks to arrive The tracking is useless it doesn t tell you in which country the checkpoints are taken so you have no idea where the item is or even if the checkpoints are real They could be invented and inserted by Viltrox staff as far as I know They never respond to queries and their store is always closed for support but somehow open for orders Schrodinger s Store Worst CS I have ever not experienced

Good experience buying lenses

Two separate purchases very good value slowish delivery and great customer service and cleared up a miss order well and timely Good communication by email
