Watch your credit card bill weeks after leaving the hotel
We stayed at Heythrop Park for 3 nights from 5 July -9 people - 6 rooms All bills were put on the family credit card mine and when we left the various room bills were agreed a few days later due to their chaotic charging system and that was that - or so I thought But tonight whilst reviewing my credit card bill on the app lo and behold Heythrop Park had submitted a bill for a further 150 It was late so had a chat online with my credit card provider as the payment was in pending I decided to cancel that card a new one will appear in a few days to stop this stupidity- well trying to talk with anyone at this hotel is hopeless as they have 2 receptions - North and South both poorly manned yes there are people there - typically one person in each but who have been trained in the Warner Hotels party line You know what the people are great the company I fleeting saw another comment from someone regarding being charged erroneously- so at least I know I am not alone The problem is that Warner think they can run an internet only hotel with very little actually visible on the ground management - think about it most hotels you go to you see the management think Hale and Pace of the late 80 s early 90 s walking around- in a Burtons suit and a Sainsbury s tie - but none of that at Heythrop Sad but not surprising- we shan t be going any where a Warner Hotel again as today s activity is the icing on the cake

Unsolicited Mail Being Sent to My Home
I keep getting marketing mail from Warners sent to another person who does not live at my address I have contacted them several times and on each occasion been told they are very sorry but will ensure their records are amended to ensure I do not continue to receive marketing mails that are incorrectly being sent I continue to receive these mails having received yet another today I am very frustrated despite their promises with their continued failure to remove my address from their marketing listing Awful company

This Is for British legion membersThis company offers legion members up 350 a booking But when you go on the website all they offer you is 10So it is not very good that they advertise in the legion magazine that offer when as far as I can see they have intention of giving legion members thatDisgruntled Huhh

One star hotel
This review for Heythrop Warner hotel This is a one star hotel Poor cleanliness room ate not cleaned daily Bed is not made up but the duvet is merely thrown on the bed No soap shower cap or bathrobePoor dinner menu the buffet is exactly like Beefeater Poor breakfast buffet with stale fried eggs already hours before asking for toast arrives immediately cold and when you ask for hot ones they come after 30 seconds hardly warm Obviously they only warm up the already made ones Coffee is poured in freezing cups So you ll never have hot coffee You have to walk outside in the cold weather for 4 minutes to reach the SPA and the Gym No indoor access but they don t tell you that on their website Also they don t tell you that the deepest point of the swimming pool is 1 2 meter They tell you they have a lake but literally it is a pond The receptionists are poorly trained without courteous greeting and communication

Don t use Warner s hotels
After years of using this organization with my late wife o decided to visit Holm Lacy for the first time 3 nights 1 160 for a heritage room Drape curtains had a large hole in it and arm chairs had the filling hanging out plus so much dirt and dust They removed the fruit bowl 24 hours early to prep it for next guestManager took photos and agreed it was unacceptable Complained to head office who just said sorry and called the matter closed They refused any compensation and called it closed Never again The amount of money I have spent Don t use them the food complaint was dismissed I would not recommended them they don t value loyalty at all

Bad experience at Studley Castle
We stayed at Studley Castle on the 20th of February 2023 for 4 nights On arrival our room was found to have stained carpets nasty looking stain on one chair and dust everywhere the housekeeper was called who apologised and sent us to the bar whilst the room was cleaned The subsequent days of our stay were also spent complaining about drinks orders being lost or waiting for ages for food and drink orders to arrive plus worst of all find a corn plaster in a bathrobe pocket The Duvet cover on the bed had a stain on it which I asked to be changed when the room was cleaned needless to say it was still there when we returned We spoke to Tania the duty manager before we left she offered us a voucher for 150 off our next visit This we declined as not a reasonable sum due to the number of complaints we had to make Tania said she would email Joanne Hamick the GM who would contact us the following week needless to say we ve heard nothing We have tried contacting Tania and Joanne to no avail also emailed the CEO nothing In conclusion the hype in the glossy magazines doesn t stand up to reality

Warners knowingly double booking some hotels
Please be aware that Warner s sometimes allow their hotels to be taken over by another company Gn holidays but still take bookings and your deposit and then at a later date cancel it I m currently trying to get a response from Warners to a booking i have but is also being advertised by GN holidays If i cancel i loose my deposit but Warners don t care

Don t buy vouchers for Warner Hotels 7 days after the money left my bank and still no confirmation or communication I have no idea who or when or even if my delivery is being made I have emailed the gift store twice over this time and have received no reply On website there is no contact details just a chat bot I have been waiting on chat bot for 9 hours and still no human Appalling

After all the hype advertising Heythrop
After all the hype advertising Heythrop Park in April we booked to go on the 24th October for 4 days to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday We paid the full balance in July On the 5th October we receive an urgent message to Warners We did so to be told our holiday was cancelled due to the building being unsafe and the room not ready for occupation To make matters worse friends had booked to join us and they were not cancelled Apparently no other room was available All the advertising and they could not inform us until 18 days before our holiday that our room was not completed Not impressed at all Heythrop Park should not have been opened until it was completed
