Only useful near Dallas

This is a review of the Weather Channel streaming service on Roku It is almost useless in the state of Texas unless you happen to live in the Dallas area You can try setting other TX cities as your location but it will only give information from Dallas Texas is bigger than many counties and we can t get weather reports for more than one city Houston is the 4th largest city in the United States but apparently it s not important enough for Weather Channel to cover it Austin is the capital of Texas but no weather coverage for it either Dallas could get their weather from Oklahoma and it would be more relevant than Dallas s forecast for the rest of the state

I do not know why I use this anymore Last year I was in the Pyrenees the forecast called for thunderstorms all day Instead it was sunny and stayed that way despite an unrepentant weather channel insisting storms would break out It only let up in the evening after giving more than 6 hours of false forecasting In the spring says it will rain all day when it is sunny and says there will be clouds when it is sunny Today same thing Thunderstorms thunderstorms thunderstorms then suddenly nothing and their model amusingly showed the thunderstorm being predicted to warp in unrealistic and strange ways as it tiptoes right around where I live Absolute utter joke this website has messed up more time than I can count I have blacklisted it They should fire the fools making these forecasts and hire competent physicists instead

Getting weather wrong is one thing but today wrong could have gotten me killed Weather channel forecasted some 15 chance of rain Walked out to my vineyard worked about an hour when thunder and lightening popped up all around me I had to mad dash all the way home through all the lightning Nothing in the forecast called for dangerous weather conditions Shame shame shame

TWC is just a group of actors

As a Florida resident I am disappointed to say the least with your The Weather Channel coverage All they do is show Georgia SC and Fort Myers areas where the major impacts are not occurring Sadly I remember when TWC got into the storms and covered the areas being currently impacted Grateful for access to legitimate reporting agencies TWC is not a helpful station that has any regard for life or timely information

Inappropriate in Florida

I think it is highly inappropriate and basically rude for Jim Cantore to be on TV telling the world how Florida residents and business owners need to rebuild their business and houses Not only that but he is pointing out mistakes saying why would anybody do that Maybe it s time for him to stay at the station if he is going to insult people that are truley in need and let somebody with some compassion for these residents in Florida take over

Worst Company and App ever Weather is never accurate they need to hire people who are actually capable of doing their job Their mobile app is also the worst experience ever I m guessing this is because I don t pay for premium but are you kidding Who should have to PAY to get a decent weather forecast The app freezes and crashes all the time the radar section never works the adds are in a completely different language than what my defaults are It should just be shut down This company is embarrassing itself

Needs MORE accuracy and LESS theatrics

Used to abide by the Weather Channel No more Your channel constantly forecasts impending thunderstorms and severe weather for my area 03561 and NOTHING Then you forecast bright sunny weather and boom downpoursthe Radar shows no storms anywhere around yet it is pouring outside Too much TV theatrics and WAY too many ads I WANT WEATHER ACCURACY NOT MOVIES

Horrible Accuracy

Sat here all day watching the weather because of potential severe storms 90 70 etc they just keep getting pushed back then never happen Wasted my whole day on the water Weather channel meteorologists need to pull their heads out of their rears This is happening a lot lately Monroe TN
