Former Wechselpilot enthusiast - now it seems like a big waste of time and money
I used to be a big wechselpilot enthusiast for a couple of years now especially because I m a non-German speaking expat and they d deal with all the German bureaucracy tricky deadlines and used to have great English customer support However I don t know what s happening lately they are messing up a lot They miscalculated my last contract big time meaning I has overpaying a lot got a huge reimbursement this year almost half of what I paid and this year 1- they sent me the email with the suggestions to change for a cheaper provider with a quite tight deadline 2 - didn t recalculate according to my real usage they had access to the consumption documents of the previous years as they were controlling the communications with the previous provider 3 - even though they had access to the previous provider documents as they registered their email under the Provider portal they asked me to provide them with the documents to which I had no access to as they are the ones registered there 4 - they contacted me today to complain that the access to the previous provider portal has changed when it was the only way Vattenfall found to provide me with the document Wechselpilot was asking me for 5 - they signed a contract with the new provider even more expensive than my previous one that considering that they miscalculated the offers and the amount that I m been charged now is absolutely not what I chose agreed with 6 - they are taking ages to answer or simply don t answer to emails anymore Are you calculating the customers savings based on the amount that is reimbursed later and that s why it s interesting for you if we overpay providers Because that s absolutely not interesting to us Nothing else could explain such a mess So right now I have 3 pending requests - please correct my current new contract not only regarding the usage but also to a reasonable amount right now it s more expensive than the previous one and I was clearly overpaying for the previous one - please note I won t accept paying eventual unecessary amounts fees penalties etc for these changes as they are caused by you - check if there are pending credits or debits with my previous or current providers and be clear about them as you were taking care of the communications - explain to me how to proceed in case I want to cancel my contract with you I hired you to take care of my contracts of the communications with the providers and to save money and it seems the service is not being properly provided Thank you 01 06 2023Even though they answered here I m still waiting for an answer and a solution via e-mail as promised

Still some way to go
New electricity supplier was a very good offer Communication must be improved to avoid surprises like pending meter reading Since Wechselpilot manages all interactions with a supplier it is difficult to use some of the additional benefits from the supplier
