I have been a customer of a bank of a bank of a bank that Wells Fargo bought and have basically just left my account with them I live overseas but still have an established address in the USA I have both a savings account and a checking account in my name my husband s name and my Mother s name This has made it easy for all of us involved to manage the account and I have a debit card and have used a credit card from time to time Due to being a loyal customer and carefully following the account and any rule changes I have mostly been able to avoid fees however there were times I didn t catch rule changes and was charged overdraft charges or checking fees You can definitely avoid these charges if you are careful and catch any pitfalls on time or are aware of the rules They may or may not reverse the charges based on the reason you may be disputing them The customer service has IMPROVED dramatically My last experience was with some travel I booked that ended up being a scam I called Wells Fargo immediately to stop the payment that was a mistake I should have simply disputed the charges and the customer service was a life saver They moved my case up the chain and actually calmed me down as I was panicked it was a lot of money Everything was taken care of and I am truly grateful Many people who I know who have worked for them have said they are a wonderful employer and there is a reason they have stayed in business so long Yes the fees might be high and the rules might be strict but that is how they stay in business and stay reliable I would rather put my money with a bank that has well treated staff careful about who they loan to and charges higher fees than a bank that is cheap and too loose with their restrictions and end up going out of business Lesson learned

I love Wells Fargo they always are very helpful the staff inside my local building are very helpful they always are asking if you need help and assistance they always want to be the best at what they re doing and I love my local Wells Fargo location
