This grant is meant to help small business but I have been rejected my application because the commission who analyse this application decided that my business is not sustainable and they will not be granting 2 500 towards my helpNow to ask you if my business was a strong business would I be needing any governamental funds This is a big joke and a big disappointing I spend a lot of time doing a business plan and cash flow predictionI repeat as a startup the grant is made for this and I been rejected as not having a strong company

Due to the fact that I m dyslexic

Due to the fact that I m dyslexic I explained this at the outset and there was no additional help even though this was explained to them before they even had an interview with me they just wanted you to do an online course which if you re able bodied wouldn t be a problem I had a discussion with one they advises on the phone after i sent a message to the company Where the advisor was apologetic which didn t help me because I Felt that I was just wasted their time I have reluctantly replied to this as trustpilot has sent me this attachment many times being dyslexic in business is very hard

Disappointing Experience with Wenta

Disappointing Experience with WentaI had a scheduled call with a representative from Wenta on Friday 30th August which I was really looking forward to However the call quickly left me feeling disappointed I wasn t informed beforehand if I needed to prepare anything so when the representative opened the conversation with What do you want to ask me it felt abrupt and unprofessional I expected the company to have leading questions to learn about me and my business not for me to drive the entire conversation I had nothing prepared because I anticipated a more structured and supportive approach When I mentioned I was interested in a grant I was told outright that it wasn t possible which set a negative tone for the rest of the call The representative didn t seem genuinely interested in understanding my business or offering meaningful advice Instead he came across as condescending and inexperienced more interested in asserting his own knowledge than helping me I had even submitted my business plan in advance which he said he would review and provide feedback on but he never followed through Having a 25-year-old with no real business experience speaking down to me is not the type of support I expected from Wenta I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine business advice or mentorship Here are some areas where Wenta can improve Do your homework Find out about your clients beforehand A simple Google search or reviewing submitted materials like my business plan would allow you to approach the conversation with more knowledge and interest Take control of the conversation Guide the discussion by taking an active interest in the client s business and personal goals This helps build rapport and shows genuine concern Only give business advice if you ve run a business There s a saying Only listen to people whose life you want Why would I take business advice from someone who has never run a business The representative seemed inexperienced and unqualified to give meaningful advice Be humble Don t assume you know it all and never put down someone s ideas Speaking in a condescending manner or dismissing suggestions without considering them isn t helpful or professional Despite sending in my business plan the representative never followed through on providing feedback as promised Overall it felt like I was being spoken down to by someone who frankly wasn t in a position to give me the advice I needed I would never recommend Wenta to anyone looking for genuine business support

I have been consistently impressed by the quality and accessibility of Wenta s webinars They offer a fantastic platform for learning from seasoned professionals all completely free The high calibre of the training which has covered topics such as marketing strategies and financial planning has made me a dedicated follower of their monthly calendar While I have yet to use any of Wenta s paid services the exceptional quality of their free offerings leads me to believe that their paid services hold even more potential I am certainly optimistic and look forward to exploring them in the future Overall Wenta is a reassuring resource for anyone looking to expand their knowledge and skillset as a business owner
