Locksmith excellent Fees questionable
Josh - the locksmith that attended - I m giving him 5 stars for his professional manner and expertise and the 3 star rating is not a reflection upon him in any way Yesterday my key got stuck in the ignition Called RAC but I wasn t covered for this situation so they referred me to their partner We ve Got the Key We ve got the Key called me back within a couple of minutes but advised they couldn t get to me that evening so it would be next day appointment but time unknown at that stage I had to pay 120 vat at that point over the phone which was for initial diagnosis and extraction Anything over that would be a separate charge I was advised that I would receive a text that night with an indication of time for the appointment - didn t receive a text but that wasn t a big deal Josh called me this morning to let me know that he would be with me within the hour and he did arrive during that time On arrival he explained what he believed the problem to be apparently a known common problem on make and model of the car and what the cost should be I then received a phone call from his office to make the payment for the new steering lock that he would need to now install Bearing in mind I had already paid 144 Inc vat I was now going to be charged an additional 360 Inc vat At this point I felt like I was being bumped tbh - but when you re in a lose lose situation you have to take the offer right Begrudgingly I paid this amount over the phone and Josh was able to proceed with the work which he carried out with what I believe great care and attention He too was a bit surprised about the charge and spoke with one of the managers I then received a call from the manager who said they were going to refund me 120 Although this is much appreciated and shout out to Josh again and that manager - but why was I charged that much in the 1st place

We issue with our Vauxhall
We had an issue with our Vauxhall Meriva where the only key we had would not start the car thankfully our garage were able to resolve this by messing with the battery however we decided to purchase a second key I completed the online form and received a quote via email then contacted the WHYK Arranging for the engineer to come the next afternoon After waiting several hours no engineer on calling the central number I was advised that there had been an issue somewhere along the line and the appointment hadn t been booked on the system A further appointment was made for the following day with the engineer arriving as agreed however this time He Did NOT have the appropriate key so left Advising us that we would get a call to re-arrange the appointment as soon as they had got a key for us They called the following day to say that an engineer would come today Saturday between 10 00am and 1 00 pm I then arranged for my son to take me shopping whilst my husband waited at home and re arranged several other things This morning at 9 52 I received a text message the appointment was now between 3 30pm 6 00pm I rang to confirm this and was told that there had been an emergency call so this would delay my engineer He has now been and we finally have a brand new working key All staff have been polite and dealt with my calls well however the fact that I would lose 100 of the money already paid if I cancelled this even due to their inefficiencies Was the only reason I dis not cancel and go elsewhere

Locksmith great Office poor
The locksmith arrived on time and delivered a great friendly service and would give him 5 stars However the office was not so good was originally booked on Wednesday waited around all day only to ring them late afternoon to find out they had moved it to that Friday without informing me

Battery dies after 2 month s
The team and the service was great can t fault them However the battery in my brand new key already needs changing just after 2 months of use Phoned the office and I was told there s nothing they can do and I was told to go and replace the battery myself I m not happy it only lasted 2 months after paying few hundred pounds for the key

John is a wizard
Locked keys in the boot what a doughnut Thankfully I found We got the Key I did have to wait 4 hours but John turned up and in less time than it takes to boil an egg he was in John is a wizard that s all I can say a master locksmith
