I purchased 3 Whirlpool appliances just
I purchased 3 Whirlpool appliances just under 3 years ago along with an extended warranty First the dishwasher went and I had to get it fixed and the refrigerator ice machine keeps acting up The worst is the range There is a crack that is about 1 inch thick in the enamel of the oven that goes from one side to another keep getting shocks Applied to the warranty but apparently that is not covered Was cooking and went to turn the knob the knob broke off - can not find a replacement Now the oven does not come off of the preheating setting plus it takes over 3 hours to get to 340 Even though it says 340 when you check the temp it is around the 280 degrees What can this company do send out a technician fix it or replace the range

Whirlpool terrible customer service and poor quality
We bought a new refrigerator and it arrived DOA it lit up but didn t cool After calls to the store where we bought it and then to Whirlpool customer care a joke on it s own a technician came He said that some wiring was reversed at the factory and was able to get it working We asked if we could change direction of the door and he said a tool was supposed to be included with the fridge but he couldn t find it He said he would order it and then we could easily do it ourselves Fast forward 2 months and on a call with Whirlpool once again they said there is no note of that request and that this was an extra part to order Sorry and too bad

I fix my own appliance and I noticed a huge decline in quality across all brand I recently purchase Whirlpool has to be mentioned there a class action ongoing about that Strategically put bad quality component and oddly programed circuit board My Maytag Commercial Washing machine often wont start I have to unplug it from the wall to get it to work again it s only 3 months old They have monopoly of sort because they own so many brand name They do this to increase unit sale If you call service they say it s done like this because of environmental law The should be sued for that too because so many new unit are going in the trash after just a few months Water of washing machine has to be drained out with the soap if you change setting a bit water level or water temperature Wasting water and polluting the environnements with extra soap They call them smart appliance but in reality they are less smart than 30 years ago Evil Corp Whirlpool is playing dumb

Promise us a refund but have yet to deliver
Recently I posted a complaint about a Whirlpool - 2 8 Cu Ft High Efficiency Smart Front Load Washer and Electric Dryer Combo When we first received it it washed and dried in less than 2 hours However after 200 washes the performance of the dryer portion deteriorated It took over 5 hours to wash and dry clothes for a small size load We had purchased a 5-year warranty When we contacted the service department they told us an 8 hour cycle was acceptable and refused to give us a refund Since I posted this review on Trust Pilot Whirlpool did send out a technician The technician couldn t find anythng wrong Finally Whirlpool did promise us a refund and that they would pick up the appliances We have been waiting several weeks and they have yet to do that

Whirlpool does not honor their warrenty
I purchase 1 1 cu ft low profile microwave hood combination in October 2020 It was professional installed and install to the recommended heigh After a year the door on the microwave started to crackup and pieces started falling off the microwave I contacted Whirlpool and they sent the installer back and replace the door on the mircowave The installer also checked to make sure that it was installed correctly After another year the door started cracking up again Whirlpool would not replace the door this time and said it was cosmetic damage The product did not stand up to regular use nor would Whirlpool honor their warranty This microwave cost me 632 00 With this experience I will never buy another Whirlpool product Charlotte Story

Appalling lack of service
13 month old dryer not heating Called Whirlpool engineer they brand as Appliance Pros Engineer rude and unpleasant says he has no idea what the problem is so he s going to order lots of parts to see if replacing one of them will fix the problem He says it will take 2 days After 2 weeks of inaction Whirlpool confirm they have no way of tracking or following up on service calls they don t keep supplies of their own parts even simple things like thermal fuses and can t provide me with any indication of what is happening or how long this may take They made me pay 180 up front which I wouldn t have paid if I d known all this

Bought parts on-line for fridge Part was not the one needed The part was discontinued being made I returned the purchase with their prepaid postage but have been waiting for over 2 months for my REFUND-CREDIT to my credit card Phone calls are automated and you wait 1 2 hour or more and then they disconnect you with never answering WORST SERVICE EVER FROM ANY COMPANY BUY SOME OTHER BRAND They are all probably made in China anyway regardless of company brand

Disappointed with Whirlpool Canada
This has been the worse experience so far with a billion appliance company Seriously I keep getting thrown random questions and nothing done to help me have my less-than-a-year washer get checked by a tech A huge grinding noise burnt plastic or metal It s taken so lightly And we aren t newbies Us the little people we spend a lot of money on these Trustworthy companies only to be let down I m truly disappointed with Whirlpool Canada

Dreadful Customer Service
Really awful disrespectful customer service We will never buy a Whirlpool product again The warranty is essentially worthless The frontline staff pretty much serve as gatekeepers to prevent assistance After 4 months of our patient cooperative attempts to resolve our defective dishwasher under warranty we will likely give up and purchase a new different brand Honestly life s too short to deal with this dreadful company and the company they contract to do the repairs who have proved equally useless We feel disrespected talked down to and frankly exhausted by the whole experience
