More than just a heart rate monitor I have been wearing a Whoop since early 2020 This is a very useful tool for improving sleep consistency and improving one s health and fitness However like any piece of fitness equipment if you don t use it consistently then you won t make the gains

Whoop has helped me track trends in my recovery data that has aided my physician and myself in regulating hormone therapy for a rare disorder that I have I feel like myself again Whoop has been a huge factor in communicating how I m feeling with real time data that validates and gives perimeters to what is going on within my body

Whoop has really helped me identify habits that help me sleep and recovery better I want to feel rested after a night of sleep and I m much more concretely aware of which habits severely help hurt that goal Also very interesting to see my fitness metrics change over time and my fitness fluctuates The daily health metrics are awesome too

Been using Whoop since 2018 and it s been the best tool i ever used to track and understand my body and for thoses like me who want to always be at their absolute best use it with MyFitnessPal and a Withings smart scale that s what i ve been using since 2018 and to me that s the ultimate combo

A real plus to meeting my expectations
Using whoop helps me make better decisions while still using my subjectivity Seeing patterns trends and such help me predict what choices will make the most sense I used to override the strain levels and was burning out Now I go closer to the recommended strain target and I end up feeling way better sleeping better and have a more stable mood energy flow

I have used WHOOP for several years At first it was to measure recovery but I quickly saw it as an excellent tool to improve sleep Over time it has become more nuanced at measuring strain The combination of Strain-Recovery-Sleep data has I think made me healthier

You get out what you put in
Providing you wear it all the time link your nutritional intake and fill your journal in accurately the Whoop can provide you with an amazing amount of useful data In 15 months I have learnt some really surprising information that I just wouldn t be able to guess by myself I bought mine at 52 so some of the functions are less useful to me that they would be for a young athlete However I feel that I can still learn and improve my health by using the data it provides me with
