Company very dishonest and manipulativeUnfortunately there is nothing less than 1 star this company does not even deserve a 1 star I took up a home emergency cover with Whoopsie After couple months I started noticing some leakage around my boiler area I contacted them and they said before I can make a claim I have to pay the remaining yearly premium upfront Without hesitation I paid the remaining yearly premium upfront and they were able to schedule for an engineer visit to my property The engineer came and could not establish where the leakage is coming from Whoopsie sent another engineer who came and said total different thing Different engineers were sent and they were all saying different things The engineers did not look like they know what they were doing they would just be touching various things like doing a guess work Finally Whoopsie said their engineer has deemed my boiler beyond economic repair Therefore a new boiler installation would be required Whoopsie said to me that as an insurance holder with them I will be getting 10 discount from the installation of new boiler but that was all cunning I have not carried out an installation of new boiler before so I fell victim of Whoopsie s exploitation They recommended electric boiler as a way forward The quotation of installation of new electric boiler Whoopsie presented to me was 3 times the cost I would have paid if I had privately carried out the new boiler installation myselfThe installation was very messy Cables equipment scattered everywhere in the house and the communal hallway no consideration to health and safety whatsoever When I enquired what made up all the costs I discovered that Whoopsie has added so many items which were not used during the installation For example boiler flue and some piping works This was an electric boiler so no flue nor those pipes were required When I pointed this out to Whoopsie they removed the cost of flue and those pipes Whoopsie also added so many other items like finance cost and administration cost Nothing has ever been stressful like the experience I had with this company Am not talking about the hours you will stay on phone waiting to speak with someone After the roller-coaster installation of the new boiler there were still couple months left in the yearly premium I purchased with Whoopsie but other times I was calling them for a minor claim Whoopsie did not bother to take my call This company is not recommendable they are very dishonest and they lack the expertise and capacity to provide any insurance cover One would rather stay without insurance cover than falling into the hands of rogue company of this nature

NO STARS and I strongly advise to boycott this company as it will cost you dearly I have had such a stressful experience with them I made a huge mistake in sharing with the call handler that my water temperature was being temperamental when I called them to book a service I naively thought a good clean service would sort this out as I ve never had boiler issues previous to this Long story short following the service my boiler actually stopped working I had to battle with them to come and look the engineer diagnosed 2 faults that would amount to over 700 and I would have to pay This is because they considered this to be an existing problem because I said when I joined my water was warm n cold I wa left with no heating or hot water for 10 days whilst arguing with them What they do is put the least experience people on front line to gate keep everything you challenge they have to speak to their manager and each time the computer says NO they had no interest in customer welfare This company is totally ruthless they are in fact an insurance company I was misold this as was supposed to be a care cover In the end I had to buy a new boiler as it was over 10 years old and I did not want to risk paying more money plus I knew every fault would be met with it s an existing problem I have had to pay 140 to cancle such a terrible distressing experience they are exploiting people and simply do not want to provide anything other than a 15 min service for years subscription of 240 Once you sign up they have you I wish I had read the small print as it is rife with the terms may do the way I got caught out was I was switching utility company in compare the market who ever the bloke that sold me this needs to be taken to task I was reeled in with a false sense of trust If I had the energy I would fight this but this company is fine tuned to lie and deceive so please be careful and avoid at all costs Finally their customer service bloke called to find out why I wanted to cancle he also was full false pretence even tried to sell me a different plan to protect my tv etc Finally I do not know how they as company sleep knowing that they are following company policy to find ways to deny customers their rights I am not daft and you can see clear as day how they operate I worry how older people would become so easily exploited by them all JUST DONOT TRUST Whoopsi in hindsight the name speaks volumes any staff reading this I hope you have some inkling of shame on you I work so hard for my money this was day light robbery

This company is without doubt the worst
This company is without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with They have taken my money every month without fail but on the two occasions I had issues with my boiler there was no response from them I had to arrange my own engineer to come and fix the problems I also had to pay these engineers around 200 which Whoopsie PROMISED to reimburse Of course they never did - what a surprise Please avoid this company at all costs It will cost you one way or another They are absolute RUBBISH and I give them no stars and that is being generous
