Peace and quiet combined with comfort

A fantastic project which has conservation and nature at its core A great combination of comfort and well-thought-out use of space for the pods which are surrounded by original trees and woodland If you re a bird-lover this is the place for you Lovely hosts - couldn t have asked for nicer people We hope to be back soon

Fenomenal What a place and what a find Customer service and attencion to detail at its best Very relaxing and beautiful location Cabins are very comfortable and cosy and plenty of wild life to look at We had a superb time plenty of walks and only a short drive from Edinburgh Will return in the winter to see the place with some snow

We had an excellent stay in the pods a real break away from it all Only a 30 minute drive from Edinburgh but you feel you really are away from it all The pods are super comfy and warm and well equipped Lovely place really quiet and very relaxing A place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life We will definitely be back

Thank you so much for your welcome and hospitality this week The bed was sooooo comfortable after two weeks in a camper van and we both slept really well It was lovely to see the changes you are making to the surrounding land and to be surrounded by so many birds and trees The pods are perfectly designed and very clean with all necessities provided

5 stars is not enough You deserve 100 stars

We have had the best holidays in many many years The pod is immaculately clean and comfortable The place is peaceful and very quiet the forest is magic If you need a place to chill out and rest Wilding on a Whim Glamping Pods is definitely the right place We will come back

A fantastic place to stay and perfect location for exploring the Borders and Edinburgh Comfy and well equipped with lots of nice little touches to make you welcome The family here are very friendly and helpful and their wilding project is truly inspirational If you want a great holiday and the opportunity to support the environment then this is the place for you We loved it and will be back again

Excellent glamping pod

Excellent glamping pod finished to a very high standard Equipped with absolutely everything you need extremely clean and tidy still smelt very new Very comfy ottoman mattress We loved the peaceful location and waking up to the sound of birds perfect to relax and unwind We also thought the re-wilding concept behind it was very interesting Would definitely come and stay again

Katie Colin and their whole family were brilliant from the moment we booked our pod Their attention to detail and contact throughout filled us with confidence and we couldn t wait to visit We booked a dog friendly pod which was very well equipped for humans and dogs It was extremely clean and finished to a high standard The pods are located in an area of beauty with plenty of things to do their website had lots of links Edinburgh was only a 20min drive away We can t wait to visit again and would recommend a stay here to anyone

A beautiful place to stay very peaceful and quiet The pod was cosy and finished to a very high spec with everything you need for humans and hounds Colin and the family were so welcoming it was lovely to sit around the fire pit in the evening chat with other guests Will definitely be booking again
