Just started on our most recent order

Just started on our most recent order of beef I noticed that it wasn t the same way it had been packaged in the past as I was unpacking it Opening the first package it doesn t look like beef My local market has better looking beef It s more of a pasty play dough consistency It stuck to the package as I was trying to open it I tried to make crack burgers and was a total flop because the beef was so sticky Adding bacon cheese sour cream ect only made it worst Sooooo disappointed Can a review go lower than a 1 star

Sketchy

I have had nothing but problems with their ground beef - either it s brown or it s under weight or it s just too full of gristle And then I just noticed that I do NOT get 15lbs of meat if I substitute especially the whole chicken So I thought I was paying for 15lbs but really it was 13lbs this whole time I figured out I m better off buying 1 4 cow and actually getting steaks roast ground beef etc than I am buying basically 11lbs of ground beef and 1 brisket from them I feel very ripped off by their deceitful tactics However I will say their customer service is amazing

Just placed a second order - not impressed

Just placed a second order The first order was a mixed bag Ground beef and fajita meat were good and the steaks were terrible This order the chuck roast was so tough that even 8 hours in a slow cooker did not help Steaks seemed to be formed together rather than cut in one cohesive piece Expected much more from a company that is supposed to sell quality grass fed beef Cancelling my order

I received my first order very unhappy- canceling

I received my first order very disappointed I didn t order a whole chicken I didn t order chicken legs I didn t order Italian sausage I didn t order beef bacon I did order the ground beef but pretty much nothing was in there except the ground beef and the order came to 126 00 I will be canceling today I also paid extra for a ribeye steak which I did not receive between the hurricane and out outage and the internet being out also this is the first time I could write

6th order

6th order 6th time I m missing product I am DONE They fix the issue every time but I m over it Today s order was missing 2 items They blame the copacker It s YOUR BUSINESS FIX IT

Just Poor Quality

I wish I had read some of these reviews beforehand I tried to give Wild Pastures the benefit of the doubt The first couple of boxes were just tough and chewy not good quality at all My husband thought it was just the way he cooked it So we tried again The last box the packages had holes Which I get they are frozen damage can happen sharp edges happen when they are that cold But the meat had a funky smell And it just made me not trust any of the meat in that box I told the company and they just wanted to replace the meat or a credit to next purchase No thanks I ll go find better quality somewhere else

Shoe Leather

Super bummed I was going through my stop eating GMO fed garbage meat from the grocery store and start ordering healthier high quality versions of meat online I ordered a Wild Pastures box less than 2 months ago to try The meats I ve cooked so far are so insanely chewy it s almost laughable I m an excellent cook so it s been a huge disappointment I initially cooked 4 pork chops and they were like absolute shoe leather I used one pkg of wild pastures ground pork in meatballs with 3 lbs ground beef from my grocery store and it was fine I ve since cooked two of the ribeye steaks and they were worse like leather than the pork chops I initially figured I got pork chops from a one- off chewy pig but nope it feels like I was duped into ordering from a company with social media pizzaz selling farm animals as food that should have been sent to Italy for fine leather boots I ll also add the way they had it packaged was atrocious Dry ice hurts I purchase seafood online from Alaska Gold and love it I noticed when I purchase from a quality company like Alaska Gold who carefully packs their fish in a blue bag and then packs the dry ice on the outside of the blue bag it s easy peasy to dump the fish in the freezer and the dry ice out - vs Wild Pastures literally put it all in a box where I had to use latex gloves and kitchen towels to unpack it because the dry ice was stuck to every single piece of meat- dry ice should be surrounding the product in a protective bag- I shouldn t have to rinse the dry ice off of each item before putting it in the freezer The worst part- I want to order beef from another online company but I m feeling unsure what reviews to trust

Guess I fell for it

Guess I fell for it Cancelled immediately Chicken legs looked freezer burned and were nothing special Every bag leaked badly once thawed out We were really looking forward to the Ribeyes They were a frozen blob Once we thawed them out and unwadded them we saw they had no cap and had been trimmed of every bit of fat Grilled them med rare Couldn t even chew them they were so tough Literally adding them to our dog s food after we cut them up as tiny as possible Wish I could get my money back
