Super poor no aftersale service By from ebay instead
I ordered my e-bike kit from Windmeile instead of the much cheaper but identical products Bafang that can be found on Chinese ebay shops The reason that I ordered from Windmeile was to ensure that the controller fitted the motor etc and that I could contact their customer support in case of trouble I have previously converted 3 bikes from normal bike to e-bike by means of various kits ELFI and Ansmann for my wife who has used these for computing 12 km to and from work on solid asphalt roads Usually these bikes have lasted 3-4 years Winter in Denmark is not good for bike My experience with Windmeile seem to fit those of others that can be found on TrustPilot As long as all is good there is no problem and why should there but once you need support there is none First they send a cable that did not fit the controller When I explained that it did not fit and gave them the number on the bag product they did not believe me as first and instructed me to take a photo of everything which as such is no problem but annoying that they did not believe trust what I said The correct cable came some 14 days later and all worked from that point After 10 months of normal use no modification tuning etc etc the motor started shutting down when riding over small normal bumps Usually 3-4 times per 12 km Since still within warranty I wrote Windmeile that I thought there was a problem with the battery They replied if I could check with a battery of a friend or measure with a multimeter when it failed I replied that this would be difficult for me After a week of writing back and forth I gave the mulitimeter a shot borrow from a friend and biked 5 km to induce the mistake and tried to measure if there was power I explained what I did and Windmeile informed me to return the motor and send a shipping label for this They then tested this and said that it had no malfunction and I had to pay the 40 euro return shipment which is their policy if there is nothing wrong even though they told me to return it In the meantime I found out that with nothing connected to the battery I could make it shot off by hammering slightly on it with my hand kind of simulating small bumbs meaning that it s the battery that is not working of course I wrote this to Windmeile on several occasions but they have ignored my request for 14 days now I understand of course that its not good for business having to replace a warranty battery but this is nonetheless the rules when doing business Frustrated and angry I have given up with windmeile and ordered a new identical battery via ebay for 190 Euro instead of the 250 Euro as marked on the windmeile page I would strongly encourage all to buy directly from ebay or similar and save some money as the service windmeile provides is just as bad a Chinese ebay seller but which comes with a higher pricetag This is my first trustpilot evaluation but I feel extremely poorly treated by Windmeile and which is why I want to share this with others I hope they go bankrupt

I have not found a better service since I have been using online shopping They help you from the beginning to the end of the purchase Fast reliable and responsive Excellent service I highly recommend it

A very competent company
I have had many questions to the bike conversion I m doing I have written with Patrick that has been answering everything and has giving me links to all parts I need so I was able to get the right parts Thanks a lot for your help
