I ve serious concerns about this company

I ve serious concerns about this company Initially I was pleased Placed my order online last weekend and my order arrived Monday When my order arrived there was no paperwork included which I thought was a bit strange as normally there is a billing shipping invoice along with returns note etc Unfortunately the item ordered wasn t suitable and I need to return I emailed them on the Monday and seven days later still haven t heard from them or received am email reply from them regarding the return I have now sent 3 emails and not received a reply I have tried to call them on the number advertised on the website however this line is not in use When reading the returns policy on the website they say goods can be returned for a refund if returned within 14 days I have concerns that when I return this I will not get my refund given the lack of communication I have been in contact with Trading Standards regarding how I should proceed and will be return the product for refund This is the first time and certainly the last time I will use this company

Cobi bike hub was second hand

Purchased a Cobi bike hub but nowhere in the item listing was it described as a USED item Box is bashed and taped up with packaging tape and the item has been used and then badly repackaged inside the box which has distorted the unit s rain cover Emailed customer service several times haven t even acknowledged me

If I could give 0 stars for customer service I would Bike arrived and front tyre wouldn t pump up Tried ringing and the phone just rings out and never picked up Emails not replied to either To refund replace you have to arrange a courier yourself and pay for the privilege even though it is a fault according to website Nice looking bike but very poor after service care there is none Took tyre off myself and inner tube perished spilt in inner tube Had a 24 inch inner tube on a 26 inch tyre So cost me to replace the inner tube to correct size Not what you want or need when buying a new bike Wouldn t buy from again

Awful Customer service

Ordered a pair for black check grips Turned out they weren t in stock and had to wait a week for them to get them in I sent them a email to confirm they were the black check and not black black which I had no response Order arrived and was the wrong colour but listed correctly on the tags Contacted about a refund but are useless at answering the phone and replying to emails Go elsewhere awful customer service

I made an online purchase from Winstanley bikes and the goods were faulty I ve contacted them many times for a replacement or a refund and apart from an automated email have had zero response

just nowNEWFirstly I purchased a bike which stated was in stock ready to dispatch this turns out it was not the case after waiting 4 days to receive a confirmation or any information I decided to call the store after spending a good 2hrs trying to get through I gave up I then sent an email and even this took 7 days for a response in between these 7 days I tried to cal numerous times each day and again could never get through once I finally got a response via email to say the bike wasn t in stock and awaiting on a delivery from supplier 15 days later the order arrived Upon opening the box everything seemed fine other than the fact the bike does not come with any pedals Pink slip stating bike has been inspected and built and is safe to use so off I went and within 1hr of riding on a downhill mountain trail the back brake cable pops out leaking fluid all over the place luckily I managed to come to a stop without any harm took the bike to the local bike hub who inspected the bike to say it was very poorly put together and should never have left the warehouse and cost me 100 to have it rectified and continue with my ride Tried to contact winstanley by phone and of course yet again no answer after numerous attempts and 2-3 hours trying After sending an email which took several days to respond to state no pedals in box and the issues I had I get offered a free set of pedals for my inconvenience or the money back it cost to get the bike fixed after accepting the money back they tell me I have to call them to process the refund All in all 2 weeks later I m still waiting for my refund

Took my money and never sent the item Horrible people that should be shut down They just steal from people and I advise everyone to go through small claims court as this is the only way you will get your money back as they ignore their phones aswell

Item was sent faulty

Item was sent faulty and Winstanleys only offered me a repair of the item when I asked for a replacement If this had become faulty after months of use this may have been acceptable Awful customer service and will not be ordering from them again

I would give no stars if possible

I would give no stars if possible bike came with broken derailleur back wheel wasn t true and gears were not setup properly called them and they want pictures videos a LBS to check it over etc I haven t got time for that I ve built bikes in the past and know when something isn t right no care whatsoever was took when preparing this bike wish I d have gone to leisure lakes or another proper bike shop not happy
