I moved but kept my bank acct and credit line open since everything can be done online these days right Well I open another acct different bank to where I live now for my direct deposit I try to mAke payment online it can only be transferred from my checking to reli on credit which is now pretty broke since had direct deposit switched to other bank can t make payment online or by phone has to be in person at a bank which is over 200miles away i mean wow way to stay with the times Woodforest not counting time when debit card stolen lost and get charged 15 for replacement or ridiculous overdraft fees no way in hell you getting a loan here and customer service is the biggest joke I hate this bank with a passion Stay away from these crooked POS

Never do business with this banks
Never do business with this banks merchant services I purchased a POS System for over 1k from Woodforest Bank and ot was defective now they don t want to refund me for a defective piece of merchandise They keep trying to charge my account when I canceled the services A guy named Bryce was acting as if he was going to help me but it seems like he s giving the run around I m trying to reach a manager but it seems impossible I m livid

Will be taking my business somewhere else bank is horrible One minute they close at 7 then they close at 6 I drove all the way to the Woodforest on galleria blvd Charlotte NC from work to cash my check so I can feed my son it s 5 59 the lady couldn t even cash my check talking about we changed our hours from 7 to 6 because we are short staffed I am going to close my account and go to another bank with more options and steady hours Do not mess with bank they are horrible in every way

Horrible bank Go somewhere else Terrible customer service and they allow multiple unauthorized transactions to be taken from your account and then their investigation takes weeks if not months to come to the final conclusion that they will not reimburse you the money they allowed to be stolen from your account Bank with anyone else Save yourself the headache

My elderly mother was scammed and when I called customer service they were rude and would not talk to me even after my mother verified her account I am also on her account as co owner Thank goodness for our local branch without them i would have closed this account

Changed POS since May 2022 it s now
Changed POS since May 2022 it s now Sept and have called EVERY month to cancel and stop monthly charges without success Was told today by a supervisor after escalating the call that there are no records of my calls except an august one and that all charges are legit 164 each month even though no services were provided and I called multiple times hours on hold and w customer service Absolutely unacceptable upsetting and absurd Terrible customer service and worse yet untrustworthy Bad bad business

I wish I could give no star review So many lies from Woodforest National Bank no same day electronic deposit no next day if electronic deposit made after a certain time even on Friday no next day by 7 00 am This Bank is just one big lier This is false advertising blatant liying to the public Oh I almost forget they say free Notary well who knows there s never anyone there that can Notarize anything This is fast food Banking at it s worst you never get it your way

Filed a dispute over 3 fraudulent
Filed a dispute over 3 fraudulent charges to my account from eBay Bank refunded money but 2 months later today charged my account back for the money Said the dispute department received confirmation from eBay that the charges were made by me and were legit I called eBay and they have the charges marked as fraud and have no record of ever talking to anyone by email phone fax or postal mail about my account and those charges

OMG I had the worst experience ever with this Bank They blocked my cashier Check for 2 months with poor customer service I almost lose my money If you are a Tourist never use Woodforest you will regret it I don t even know why they are still operating I would recommend Bank of America

Worst bank ever if I can ever get switched I will they favor rich companies over customers and will take your money for stupid shut like mail return fees and check balance fees every thing they can make up they let spectrum take almost 300 from my acct that I didn t owe can t argue with them if the other person is worth more I m on s s and they keep taking more every month worst bank ever to exist run from them
