Requiring a new garden rake I decided
Requiring a new garden rake I decided to purchase a Gardena combi-system rake from World of watering thinking that the process would be simple How wrong was I Firstly the items that I decided to purchase were shown on the web-site as being in stock this was not the case after waiting for my delivery I enquired as where my products were only to be informed that they were out of stock 2-3 weeks to supply Further communication with the company convinced me to request that they should refund my payment Having sent e-mails to the company over the last few days and not having received confirmation that the refund has actually been processed I find myself dismayed as to this companies retail strategy I have been a retail manager myself for many years and quite frankly find this companies attitude to their customers lacks a sense of constructiveness and regard to creating goodwill Will I deal with World of watering again NO

Poor stock control system Poor service
I ordered some christmas presents from worldofwatering shown in stock 4-5 day delivery After a week and a half I received a generic email that began hi there tht advised that as a consequence of Covid that my order cannot be fullfiled until next year This pandemic is horrendous but I am fed up with business blaming using the pandemic as an excuse for poor service If an item is shown as in stock it should mean that its ready to be delivered not awaiting delivery by the supplier I have to now shop for presents that I thought I had completed with very little time - will not shop here again

We are a charity We bought an incompatible product and I lost the box which was opened anyway the company refused to refund the item because I no longer had the box which would have been damaged anyway due to me opening it They claim to have a returns policy on their website which they don t So make sure you order the correct products and read everything about it as they are not interested in giving returns and do not publish where to sell unused items online The returns policy is also not published online as stated

Very bad after-sale service
Bought a Gardena hose and used less than 5 times the connector was disconnected from the hose and causes leaking emailed them for an exchange refund as it mentioned that it is with a 30-year warranty They think that it is very fault as I tried to remove the connector I told them I have not done so and they just asked me to put it back to the original position myself and it still causes leaking Will definitely avoid this company forever

Don t buy from this company
The hose arrived wrapped in a black bin liner and bubble wrap with no instructions no box As soon as we put the attachments on we realised that it didn t fit on my outside tap although every other hose we ve had just clicked on We bought a small part to make it fit The hose doesn t just roll off of the trolley If I want a bit more hose I have to walk back to the trolley and unroll more Winding it back is a nightmare and not for anyone with limited mobility or in pain There s also an overspray regardless of setting and how much I turn my tap on It sprays the earth out of the tubs and soaks the windows and surrounding area World of Watering have been a nightmare Even though I ve said I wanted to return it on day one they re stalling me and saying that I can t I called Gardena in Germany and they ve confirmed that all of their hoses come in a sealed box and that they think I ve been sent a return Despite this W of W are still saying that they may not refund if I send it back I wouldn t recommend you buy from this company

Avoid this company at all cost - deceiving customers
I have made my first purchase at World of Watering confident their service would be ok following some reviews I have read and having a look on the prices and Gardena range in stock To start my order took quite some time to arrive but eventually did and I tried my new Gardena Oscillating Sprinkler Aquazoom M the day after For my surprise even though I have almost 4bars of water pressure the sprinkler has the poorest of performances which I am genuinely unsure it is due to faulty item or really poor designed product since I have tried my neighbour s sprinkler identical model competitor brand stating also requires 4bar pressure to operate on optimal condition and works perfectly fine I immediately contacted the customer service team by email as per T Cs on the website for returning items and refunds I was met with unpleasantness by an agent called Niall who asked to send videos of product working which I did even though as per T Cs I am entitled to return the item as long as it is is on original packaging and in a resalable condition which it absolutely is Only tried it once as I could not verify quality of the product in any other way So I did send the video and asked to confirm they would refund and to confirm the address I should return the product to Niall came back stating I would need to perform a bucket test as well as if they couldn t confirm the item was indeed faulty they could not accept the item which again is against the company T Cs published on their website and which I familiarised myself with before placing an order Also Gov uk is pretty clear on the rules about online selling known as distance selling - Accepting returns and giving refunds the law - GOV UKKeep in mind that because I was unsure if the item was indeed faulty I did not request for the return postage to be paid by the company and was going to pay it myself Niall continued to come back stating they refuse to accept the item as it seemed not faulty but was due to me changing my mind and therefore after my complete legit and reasonable arguments I have asked to speak with a manager For days I have asked this with successive emails which now no one replies This is completely unacceptable unfair treatment and I feel pretty much scammed by this company I am aware they do not advertise Trustpilot as their prime reviews website and I am unsure if someone will actually read the reviews here however conveniently customers cannot freely post through review io unless they are sent an invite which I believe for obvious reasons I have not been sent and I reckon there are plenty more unsatisfied customers that have been unable to review their experiences

Garden shears
In not happy with the harder shears I ve message saying the blades are not sharp enough took ages to reply ended up calling them and told me to send a video done that then said they can t do nothing but if I can t use them should get a refund right I will not be shopping with these again terrible customer service

Failed Gardena timer Failed customer service
Purchased over 600 of Gardena micro drip irrigation system including two digital timers One of the timers sprung a leak from the valve casing well within the warranty period Contacted them They asked for receipts and video of it leaking Then asked me to strip the case and video the valve leaking Claimed ice had caused during winter both timers were drained and stored over winter They have refused to replace it This is a 40 product No skin off their nose to get this sorted but now lost a customer and the Gardena brand is off my shopping list Good work World of Watering ruined two reputations in one fell swoop

Excellent customer service
Customer service is what I look for in any company It is as important as pricing for what good is a cheap price if your vendor cares nothing about your problems This review is all about customer service in particular for responding to a panic order I made for Gardena parts because my Landscape Gardener suddenly returned to our Covid-19 delayed garden project and wants to put down the irrigation pipework before the slabs can be laid In my haste to get my hands on the parts I ordered from Worldofwatering only to find that I could actually get the out of stock items elsewhere but a little quicker when speed was of the essence Because they responded promptly to my panic d plea to cancel the order which I would have had to return they were able to cancel the order and refund the payment thereby saving me a load of hassle I really value that response and I will certainly look to sourcing future products from them And I suggest you do the same
