Use Vivobarefoot or Xeroshoes if you are in the UK

Very much like the experience of another 1 star reviewer Gobsmacking UK customs costs which I suggested they put on their website as a guide 48 99 on a pair of 186 shoes for other people Having now read that someone else has had the same issue I really think the website need to give examples of extra costs as outlined above Extremely disheartened to read that Simon s shoes weren t even worth it I bit the bullet and have paid the customs because I couldn t get customer services to tell me what the returns cost would be The fees are calculated on a case by case basis as it can differ but there is the outbound shipping fee that is non-refundable the return shipping fee usually UPS charges quite a lot for this and then import processing fee around 20 GBP and warehouse handling around 5 GBP That would be the total which is all calculated after the package has arrived back at the warehouse I made a comment on facebook but I expect it will be removed

Neat shoe designs but customer service department is lacking Had a size issue that they were unwilling to resolve Edit to your reply a replacement cardboard shoebox costs 1 at most I even offered to pay for a new shoebox for the inconvenience I know you re a small business but I highly encourage you to sometimes just do the right thing It s a piece of cardboard

I Feel Scammed After Being Charged Nearly 50 to Return

I really wanted to love these shoes the quality seemed great but the sizing and return experience for U S customers was incredibly disappointing I followed their manual sizing guide and even used their 3D tool which recommended a size 36 The manual guide pointed to a 37 so I ordered that after a lot of deliberation Unfortunately the shoes were way too big When I returned them I wasn t told how much would be deducted only after the refund did I find out 48 90 was withheld That included 36 for return shipping and 12 90 for the original shipping which was never clearly disclosed during the return process That information is buried on their site and wasn t shown on the return label invoice or confirmation emails For international buyers especially in the U S it s a gamble that could cost you nearly 50 just to try them on and potentially even more with tariffs I wouldn t have placed the order if I d known that up front Proceed with caution if you re ordering from outside the EU

Average The shoe looks better in the photo than IRL A bit disappointing Material seems to collect dirt easily Still not as wide as I thought I assume it s Scandinavian brand but the shoe is not really special at all Just a instagram hype by the Scandics They could have some nicer colours

Nice design but gets dirty easy and it s hard to clean The laces are also poor quality The shape of the shoe is good

ARCUS WHITE

ARCUS WHITE I bought them half year ago - tried multiple times and gave them multiple chancesI have a pretty standard leg I was buying them thinking they will look better than regular barefoot shoes and more feet to wear at workBut overall- the rim is high - it is not comfortable and doesn t fit- leather broke on the side after couple of wearings- they are extremely wide in the front and looks clowny

Good shoes somewhat shady advertising

The shoes are good I have both Hallux and Arcus but the advertisement strategy is a bit shady They heavily feature recommendations from My Foot Function in their advertising material but they are not disclosing that Wyde Footwear and My Foot Function has frequent collaborations As for the shoes Hallux is a good summer shoe but the white color stains very easily so I recommend other colors Arcus is my personal favorite the toe box is very wide wider than other brands so it looks very bulky and it takes a while to get used to the look about six months for me I bought the Arcus Storm high top with the expectation of a winter shoe even though we didn t get much winter this year It leaks a lot of cold air in the toe box so when biking in cold weather there is not much difference between the Arcus Storm and a regular Arcus Update the response is reassuring and I ve updated the review slightly and added more information about the shoes

I ve been wearing foot shaped shoes for over 13 years tried all brands out there unfortunately most are too narrow and compromise their shape and width Wyde are the only ones I ve tried so far that are truly Anatomically correct and have a great design and outsole that is thin enough for sensory feedback and flexibility but also thick enough for comfort and protection I m so excited to see what other models they release

For the first time I can actually feel my big toe working as it should in a shoe Will definitely recommend to everybody i know
