I had a 25 000 credit limit for the X1 card and it was unjustly lowered to 4 000 which in turn caused my credit card utilization to go up to 90 I have never made a late payment and my credit score was in the 700 s Shady

Worst experience ever
I was loving the X1 card until my account was mysteriously flagged for a fraud review I was purchasing Christmas gifts on cyber Monday The only thing I can think is that I put in the wrong zip code a few times was shipping something as a gift They prompted me to complete an ID verification which I did and it was accepted Following this my account has been locked for 4 days No transactions allowed at all They will give me no information no timeline or any reason why my account is under fraud review I have subscriptions and gifts being cancelled left and right At least give me a reason help me understand so I can help mitigate concern It s unbelievable One of the worst experiences I ve had with a credit card in my adult life

Same as Phil Got an email saying account closed without any warning Robinhood must be having a liquidity problem X1 card is a joke I make 6 figures and they close it Weak sauce

Make sure you use it on a regular basis
There is nothing wrong with the card but be careful I have multiple cards and rotate them so that they all get used on a regular basis and I always pay off the balance at the end of each month As the X1 gave me a huge limit I decided that it would be best to keep it in reserve just for emergencies Every other card I have has always warned me if I have not used the card for a period of time and give me say 30 days to use it or it would close However with X1 there is no warning I just got an email saying due to inactivity we have closed your card As this was such a high limit it could therefore affect my credit score

Unjust practices discriminating
This X1 company doesn t even bother to justify their action of reducing my credit limit by 95 all they say is non-utilization of credit and when I m countering them on their false narrative they are not able to answer to my queries This happened to me this week despite being their customer from 3 years and most importantly a loyal and diligent customer who makes full payments in a genuine and prompt manner Their stupid nonsensical and adverse actions are hampering my credit scores and utilization They have no answer to my questions it s becoming quite clear that they are discriminating individuals with their unfair practices I m expecting you to fix your mistake at the earliest instead of affecting other s mental health with your unruly practices

How is this not the worst credit card company
Had this card for over 3 years with no missed payment balance paid in full each month and spend over 15k per year Out of nowhere on 10 24 2024 they dropped my credit like from 27k to 5k None of their prepared explanations made sense credit score is over 740 with zero derogatory items

Stay away- horrible fintech product
X1 advertises great rewards and high credit limits I ve held the card since day one Over time the rewards have been stripped Previously you hit 15k annual spend and were awarded 15k points on past purchases and 3x points on all purchases forward This was cut My credit is over 845 with less than 4 utilization over all available credit lines This morning I was notified that X1 slashed my credit limit by 75 because I wasn t charging enough This card is still regularly used and I had the same 25k credit limit since day one Avoid this card if you care about rewards value 0 006 point if not redeemed with partner or your credit score

Massive SURPRISE credit reduction completely uncalled for
Card was approved with a high limit of 32 500 and stay unused for two years Started using it over the last 6-8 months and I thought it was great Bonuses the app is clean decent points quick updates etc Out of the blue they email me and say we ve reduced your credit limit to 5k because you re not utilizing your full line 85 reduction because I m not maxing out my card each month Since when do you need to or it s a good idea to max out your card each month Spoke to several people at customer service all of who refuse to do anything or make any adjustments No meeting half way No changes Nothing Clearly a 32k reduction in available credit will harm anyone s credit and they don t care at all Never do business with this company unless you like surprise adverse effects on your credit history Not worth the headache Customer service is nonexistent they couldn t care less about you

The biggest scam of all credit cards DO NO USE They offer you a 25- 30k credit limit on the spot and within a year that number will reduce to 5- 10k I have never missed a payment and I have a great credit score They will make sure to ruin ruin that for you Their only communication is through a text no live agent exists Oh and good luck trying to dispute any transaction You can show them all the evidence in the world and they will not help you in anyway STAY AWAY
