I can t believe that a big company like this is incapable of following basic GDPR rules I unsubscribed from all of their email which was not easy as you have to log into your profile to do that and still getting emails also there is no way to report on these things Now I have to log in again and unsubscribe again as if I have nothing better to do Might as well delete my profile completely Add on the comment below from xing is ridiculous and really plays against them According to GDPR rules The unsubscribe process under GDPR needs to be clear and simple This is obviously not the case I had to log into my profile and navigate multiple checkboxes IF I have done it wrong despite being thorough and very much acquainted with these topics then everyone else will as well

You take out a years subscription for 39 which is useless stick with Linkedin then at the end of the year without any notice of renewal they take 99 Absolute con They will not refund or stop taking the money claim I agree to it in clause 7 3 or some such Most normal companies notify you that they are going to renew and allow time to cancel if you found the product basic and uselessThanks XING you did yourselves proud Avoid

Xing are a bunch of crooks DO NOT SUBSCRIBE Please try to avoid using this platform at all costs It is useless They make it very difficult to cancel and then chase you with debt collections threats and invoices for services you do not even use I tried to cancel an account they told me I couldn t until an invoice was settled even though the account had not been used for years The invoice was settled and it that time they raised another one for services I WAS NOT USING and DID NOT WANT They are unethical and unprofessional I just want them to leave me alone and let me close this rubbish account and software but they make it so hard on purpose It is the worst customer service experience I have ever had they are JUST AWFUL AVOID

XING is a 100 German SCAM
XING is a 100 German SCAM based on automatic renewals small print etc Nowhere near LinkedIn for Germany and DACH region in 2023 in terms of usefulness in recruiting As a recruiter I ve tried dozens of apps etc When I wanted to cancel before my subscription period was over - no problem whatsoever hell I even canceled and got refunded after the period was over XING though 100 knows its place in the market - IT IS NOWHERE near other services let alone LinkedIn So XING - does the only thing left to get people s money somehow - plays with SMALL PRINT When I outreached to them with the info that I wanted to cancel the upcoming subscription - they said You need to do that three weeks before the end it was in the small print that we ve put in terms and we deliberately did not send you any info about upcoming renewal so you d forget about that We also do not care you haven t used the XING for 99 9 of the previous year You need to pay the next full subscription for the year also - we ve blocked your account If you do not pay it - we will send debt collectors LOL Which level of pathetic are you XING Whenever you look you see such stories about how XING is scamming people outta their money - hard not to see it So if you are recruiter or candidate in 2023 - LITERALLY NO REASON to use XING I mean - you get amazing Sales Navigator for less and XING is nowhere near the reach and possibilities of LinkedIn XING is nothing more than a huge waste of anyone s time money and nerves in 2023 and beyond It is a dying platform with no real bang-for-a-buck factor their support is exceptionally bad as well PS No need for your pathetic replies You know what you are doing And yes - I am your client you don t have to know which one

Complete joke of a company and SCAM system that has auto-renewal on and no way to turn this off Details of this are hidden in small print so there is no way to cancel this no cooling off period and rude customer service that is not helpful Avoid would not recommend

Just don t use Xing
Same as all the reviews below They don t provide any renewal reminders and then point you to terms of service when you ask to cancel and be refunded Clearly out to gauge their customers at every opportunity and no desire to do what s right by their customer or to follow standard business norms for customers looking to cancel I don t imagine the business is doing well for them to be fighting customers over 100 Euro accounts I feel sorry for the person answering their customer service requests all day - they have absolutely no empathy for customers at this point My advice simply don t use Xing - LinkedIn is a much better service than it was and has greatly improved its penetration in the DACH market

Charging for service not delivered
I had my credit card changed and Xing sent me several warnings about service debt collection I eventually signed in and canceled my subscription for service that I don t use However even though it says my subscription is canceled and I don t have Premium membership they still want to charge me for full year of usage even though they don t provide me with service Instead of normally canceling my account for non-payment and allowing for grace period of 1-2 months for me to decide - they force you to pay even though you don t want to use them This is least to say scam I have stopped paying LinkedIn few years ago in a same manner and everything went without any problems - they canceled my membership as I wanted STAY AWAY FROM XING in huge radius - worthless service - terrible customer experience

Bad customer support and service
We are client and we dont have the right support from the company For 8 months trying to receive some paperwork to audit the tool and they keep avoiding and not answering emails I have reached out to customer support which they reply the ticket and then disappear I am at the point to cancel the contract but without any reply I am not even able to do it
