XOOM Energy sent me a bill received
XOOM Energy sent me a bill received today 10 18 24 The bill is dated 10 8 24 - 10 days ago Xoom Cust Svc blamed USPS The problem is that Xoom has already dinged my credit score - my score has been over 800 for more than 20 years Not any more Thank you Xoom Energy I spoke to a Cust Svc rep It took about 5 minutes to answer questions to prove that I am the person I say I am Finally he announced that the bill HAD BEEN PAID 12 days ago So why did I get a bill today He blamed USPS And why did Xoom post a negative credit score Only the Shadow knows Xoom does not I ve had problems with Xoom Energy before but nothing like this My advice If you value you hard-earned score use another natural gas provider Xoom Energy seems unable to cope with common problems of their own making And - they have no way to correct the incorrect report on my credit score Let the buyer beware

Just got off the phone with XOOM Energy Cust Svc More billing problems They did not send a bill I got a REMINDER today but no DUE DATE I spoke to cust svc for more than one hour and got nowhere Carlos M could not help me neither could he forward my call to management It seems that XOOM assigned me two different accounts and is UNABLE to remove the bad one Carlos said he forwarded a msg to another department but he s not allowed to tell me which or to whom Or how long it might take This is the most incompetent company I ve ever seen They seem incapable of solving straigtforward problems I ASKED THAT THEY REMOVE LATE FEES AND THAT i D PAY THE BILL BUT THEY CAN ONLY REMOVE 1 ONE LATE FEE PER YEAR EVEN IF THE PROBLEM IS THEIRS I ve never seen such incompetance They seem good at adding late fees etc but cannot fix a problem that they admit is theirs So I will pay them but then I will close my account with XOOM Energy And I suggest that all who read this review do the same

Simple order process online No upfront cost Fixed rates are lower than my enmax fixed rates and admin fees were lower only 6 85 mth each E-Bill so convenient I just login online and pay Happy that I know how to read my energy bills thank you to xoom energy for educating me

Marlene my service rep was concise with her explanation of the fees and change-over procedure She made me feel at ease switching to a new company The process became quick and easy with nothing hidden and simple notification of when the process would be complete Marlene has also been available for any follow up questions I have had Excellent all around
