This is a terrible company

This is a terrible company Paid for a fire retardant treatment on fabric I bought from this company and it went up in flames Please please anyone who has bought fabric from this company have it checked I was lucky Yorkshire Fabric Shop wouldn t even take responsibility for it they just wanted the fabric back Terrible costumer service actually NO customer service I would highly recommend Not using this company

This may be a good store in person but don t buy from them online Poor customer service shady business practices I ordered fabric on August 2nd received a confirmation of payment I sent 3 separate emails to Yorkshire on August 27 28 and 29 when nothing arrived with no response Raised a dispute with PayPal on August 30 who said they contacted Yorkshire with no response Escalated the dispute with PayPal on September 2 to a claim which prompts PayPal to claw back money from the merchant Yorkshire shipped the cloth the next day without responding to me or PayPalThe fabric arrived but marked and stained I could return it but I doubt I d get a refund or even any response from them

Wonderful product prompt delivery

Ordered 6 meters grey of upholstery cloth to recover a sofa It arrived very promptly especially given the pandemic conditions was sufficiently well but not over packaged and it simply beautiful quality fabric Would not hesitate to recommend company and their online service

The fabrics from the Yorkshire Fabric Shop are exquisite but above all the service I received during a recent purchase was first class I called to ask for advice on the correct fabric for my reupholstery project of covering 4 chairs for my little granddaughters and nothing was too much trouble I was given suggestions and although I knew which fabric I preferred I was told to wait until the 6 free samples arrived and I could view them in my home It was obvious that the staff put customer satisfaction above profit and that really impressed me they cared When the samples arrived they were all really beautiful but one just stood out above the rest as it matched my rug and colour scheme perfectly I felt confident ordering from the Yorkshire Fabric Shop and the material arrived quickly and safely I was delighted with the quality the suitability of the material and the ease with which I was able to complete the project I was so impressed with the finished chairs that I would recommend this family business unreservedly and indeed I already have done just that to all my friends and family I cannot speak too highly of the Yorkshire Fabric Shop All I can say is order the samples you need and prepare to be really happy that you have found a product that will more than meet your expectations

WHAT A GREAT LITTLE GEM

Yorkshire Fabric Shop What a great find I have ordered a number of samples at different times and they have always arrived promptly and attractively packaged From these samples I have selected 3 metres of a fabric for re-upholstering a precious chair and this arrived today by courier thoroughly well packaged and wrapped I was unsure about the fabric of my choice but after chatting to Jason I was given some sound and extremely helpful advice Jason then went on to ensure that the fabric was not despatched until after my return from holiday I have to say I am delighted with the beautiful fabric The quality is excellent and I can t praise highly enough the helpfulness and support I have received from staff at The Yorkshire Fabric Shop The customer service is excellent and I wouldn t hesitate to recommend this company I am now going to look at ordering some beautiful cushions from the samples which I have received
