Poor customer service
Not even worthy of one star do not book a trip with this company The owner is rude and ignorant and does not reply to justified complaints In December 2021 we went on a mystery trip and spent 6 hours on a cold coach with no toilet for a shocking 3 hours in Windsor It caused a great deal of stress for my family and elderly parents and not one iota of customer care from the so-called world famous Yorkshire Rose truly shocking and clearly only interested in making money and not looking after customers who have paid money for a much looked forward to trip DO NOT TRAVEL WITH THEM

Very bad communication and no answer to
The so called world famous yorkshire rose is very poor - they have forced me to lose 70 of a gift voucher because they can t park at meadowhall any more - is that really my fault I know it can be used for holidays but I wanted to use it for day trips

Diabolical atrocious do not use
I am 79 years old my friend is 67 years old and both widows I 2022 we booked places on the yorkshire rose remembererence big band weekend Several weeks before departure yorkshire rose was informed that the big band scheduled for our entertainment was cancelled However yorkshire rose chose not to tell us or offer any refund so on the day of departure we were in total ignorance of any changes to the programme We were told by the hotel management where the event should have taken place Back home we complained and yorkshire rose upheld the complaint by giving us a 25 allowance to be used against the cost of another trip of our choosing In 2023 we used the allowance as intended In 2024 we visited Yorkshire rose to book another trip only to be told our booking could not be accepted but there was no reason given But I think we all know why Since when has lodging a complaint resulted in a ban Is this how consumer rights is supposed to work Is this the actions of a professional businessman

Theyve shopping in immigrants
Have only given one star because I can t give none3 of us Went on a day trip with the world famous Yorkshire rose to Hatton shopping village on the 18th March 2024 What an absolute joke we got there and 99 percent of things were closed apparently it doesn t open on Mondays the day we went even had it been open there wasn t enough to spend a whole day thereWe then got taken in to leamington spa which appeared a lovely place but after getting off the coach going for something to eat it was time to come home again Obviously the company don t do due diligence before booking trips to places I have wrote and complained and messaged on Facebook when after 2 weeks I had no reply to find my self blocked from the Facebook page Been into the store on the market to see why my complaint was not answered to be met with you never asked a question it was a rant To add I ended my message with I look forward to hearing from you soon Does that not imply I was expecting a response All we expected was a sorry for the trip not being as advertised None of the staff in the office were able grasp that a customer complaint however received should be acknowledged and responded to appropriately instead of being arrogant and rude I wouldn t recommend this company to anyone Looks like it s the norm for any bad reviews or messages gets you blocked and banned Not great customer service from a company whose boss likes singing his own praises

Very bad customer service when complain ignore and block off social media page
I booked a trip to Harry Potter then realised could get a free carer after a month of lots of chasing and no replies or little communication was told waiting for Warner Bros studios to get back I put a comment on their Facebook page to say had a lovely trip though air con and toilet was broken and had no break on the way down so over 3 hours on a boiling coach and that had issues with office staff not keeping updated to be blocked seems regular if complain they block you as don t seem to deal with complaints well

Steer clear
This isn t a review as such just my experience of dealing with this atrocious company First a little context my wife is disabled and almost died in hospital a few years ago she spent three weeks in a coma and had to have a trachy to have a breathing tube inserted which means her throat closes up when she sleeps causing sleep apnoea she uses a CPAP machine that enables her to breath Two years ago she had a mastectomy due to breast cancer unrelated but I think pertinent Anyway she struggles to sleep at the best of times and can be in bed anytime through the day or night A couple of weeks ago Yorkshire Rose started picking up a neighbours child who has learning difficulties The driver was peeping his horn to get the attention of the parents to bring the child to the bus The vehicle looks like a 5 tonne mini bus and has a really loud horn Just to be clear this isn t a quick toot this guy really tries to get a tune out of that thing causing it to be a decent long burst This occurs at 08 30 and then again at 15 30 five days a week when the child is in school Now me being me I thought this would stop when the parents got used to the times of the buses arrival but it continued I sent an email on the second or third week asking what I thought would be a professional company and who may not be aware of the drivers noise making attempts if they could request the driver to stop the unnecessary and excessive use of his horn The first emailed garnered no response so I sent a second which I copied and pasted below Dear Sirs I wrote several days ago to ask that your driver not sound his horn on pick up and drop off at 08 30 and 15 30 from a nearby property As he is still using his horn incorrectly and excessively I shall be gathering evidence on CCTV and submitting it to the local authority and the Police along with the two emails I sent to try and resolve the issue Regards As you can see it was a little sterner but I meant it and still do however I did get a response from a Katie I won t put that here because it was just an attempt to send me to another bus company bizarrely I replied that I would still be dealing with them directly as the details on the mini bus itself were Yorkshire Rose and those were the details I would use The following is what I received as a reply It say oxo on side of busses doesn t mean they sell it We work with several company s and give them a better rate if they use our logo on their vehicles we ve passed you the name of the company involved its up to you what you do with that information we didn t need to do this as it s nothing to do with us Maybe you could stop curtain twitching and could try and speak to the driver involved as there maybe two sides to this story and the people involved on the bus This may be annoying to you but may make a little one s with learning difficulties day but who knows just a presumption with some of the work good year do This wasn t signed and as you can see was from someone only semi literate we aren t dealing with great minds here I haven t changed any of the spelling or punctuation this is exactly what I received It also shows that they are aware of the situation due to the last two lines of the email I sent one last email advising I would be forwarding the emails to the local authority and would post a review for them so here it is I did get one last jibe from them this time a Karen no I m not joking I paste it below for your consideration Look forward to it all because you did get the response you wanted over something that is nothing to do with is bet your great fun at a BBQ Have a wonderful day Karen So there we have it looks like the previous negative reviews were all accurate I intend to post a review every week from now on with an update and final resolution also Yorkshire Rose was never aware of my wife s condition as it s none of their business Never the less I would have expected better from a company used by the local authority to shuttle the town s children about

Coventry tiny Xmas market
Visited Coventry so called Xmas market There was only six stalls so being there for four hours was totally pointless and a waste of money In fact I don t think it should be advertised as a Xmas market Awful trip

Awful company
Well it s been over a week since my last contact with this company and the horn sounding continues For full details see below review I m currently in the process of applying for an abatement order from the local authority under the Statutory Nuisance legislation and they require several weeks evidence to investigate so I ll update again next week
