Impossible none day out due to misrepresented access
I booked day tickets for myself and my daughter along with mobility scooter hire only to find on arrival they had misrepresented disabled accessibility There is a very long walk from the Blue Badge parking area to the reception where we could collect the scooters Although the Park may say they cater for people in wheelchairs those with mobility issues are unable to tackle the long walk and there are no staff within the parking area to assist Admittedly the Park do say it is possible to drop disabled visitors near to the reception the drop off point in my experience it is still too far and in any case does not cater for when all people in the car have mobility issues They still have a long walk up the path They have not made reasonable adjustments to enable ALL disabled people to access the Park On complaining about the misrepresentation about the access and requesting a refund I have been completely ignored by the Company even though my request contained constructive suggestions which could improve the situation The Park do not appear to care about the customers experiences so long as they have your money which they ensure they do not have to return

This place is appalling
This place is appalling Even post Covid Whatever season It s always the same Do they care No More cafes more to spend on No thanks Ticket prices raise a bit Your walking here longer but the animals homes who are enclosed seem to get smaller Google reviews suggest the place is perfect Most other sites explain the truth Do they take your money and is it overpriced Absolutely Do they look after customers or care about individuals Not at all So I took my partner and two year old in January in the absolute freezing cold Barely saw animals and when we did they are miserable as anything Went again in the summer the exact same thing So I tried to book online wouldn t allow me wouldn t give me the discount price Ticket office knew of the errors but wouldn t discount Anyway having skipped lunch to avoid the extremely ridiculous cost and quality of food you tend to walk in strangely narrow lanes all around not being able to find much You can have a map fat load good that does The animal workers think they do a good job but they don t Okay the animals are healthy enough apart from the load that have died this year but they re miserable and bored These animals needs to be better entertained They need more room And this park and the owners know it They have so much space Look opposite the tigers There s a mile of eatery grass unused But Doncaster people workers don t have a big enough brain sadly So it ll never change And No it s not a money thing They re making millions a month Is Doncaster deprived Yes lowest paid jobs in the country tbh But the area isn t deprived The area of the wildlife park up market and costly So that s what you re paying for that s what they believe you should pay for welcome to South Yorkshire More to the point welcome to Donny

Never one to complain
Never one to complain and generally some one who is easily pleased however I had such a poor experience on Saturday that I felt it necessary to take to here and complain I booked to attend the evening at the Zoo Saturday 17th it was advertised to have on live music and a BBQ I came with my partner and 3 children and we travelled an hr and 20 mins to get there We made a dash straight to the bbq first to feed the children before making our way round to see the animals The queue when I arrived at the BBQ it wasn t a bbq wasn t too long yet it took an hour and a half To get to the front of the queue When I then got to the front the chips how do you get chips wrong Were rock solid and the churros were black and not edible that s 35 00 wasted on food and then less than an hr left to go round the zoo We missed the majority of animals and we all left disappointed and out of pocket How on earth it took an hr and a half at a truck just selling chips and churros I have no idea As we waited to feed the children when we got there I had no choice but to wait We still left hungry as the food was appalling the two gentlemen on the truck clearly shouldn t have been left to man it and seemingly had no idea what they were doing Please contact me

Seriously not impressed Very disappointed
Spent the night in the Hex hotel on the park the night before our intended visit round the park 1st room allocated toilet coming away from the wall We were moved to another room which was fine Next morning a total washout as rained all night The car park was flooded so the park will be even worse and I m sure the animals have got more sense than to come out of their enclosures in torrential rain Asked for a future dated ticket as there is no point in going round the park today Was told No we don t do that REALLY Without customers to fund their ability to look after the animals they d have to close They should look after their customers better Disgraceful

I m so disappointed in this trip
I m so disappointed in this trip we came for my son s birthday and he had such a rubbish time and was so fed up by the time we left We even left 2 hours earlier than planned School kids on trips everywhere so teens hanging around eating on all the play parks making it impossible for little to play There were barely any animals to be seen and all in tiny enclosures Everywhere was closed no entry no stands open even though we paid full price for tickets Just overall a disappointing experience with a sad little boy on his birthday Would not recommend coming here really

At least the animals are well cared for
I think the animals are well cared for wich is obviousley the most important thing but thats where the positivity ends We did not see the Rhino tiger leapord Zebra just spotted a cheetahs head pop up a Giraffe a few monkeys sleeping polar bears and a load of plastic dinosaurs Its not really a safari park experience its going for a walk in park and spotting a few animals What really ruined it though was one of the young female staff being downright abusive when we stood looking at the lemurs through the cage She glared at us and demanded aggressively we dont stand there when were simply stood outside the enclosure watching her feed them We have no idea what we did wrong and it impacted on the experience And when i complained to customer services about the incident they were simply not interested in any way shape or form Maybe this is that famous Yorkshire hospitality they are so proud of Oh and i had two small cheese rolls a small bottle of drink and biscuit and that cost twelve quid Either way we will not be going back

Very disappointed
Very disappointed It started off okay in as much that we were looking forward to seeing the cheetahs with the new cubs We actually caught a glimpse of one adult and two youngsters albeit from a distance From there on it all went downhill very quickly They have gone to considerable expense to construct elevated viewing platforms for the big cats Great except on our visit there were none to be seen Not a lion tiger leopard in sight In over two hours all we saw were a couple of giraffes and two scruffy polar bears and that was it This ain t a cheap gig either60 quid per couple is a rip off in my opinionIt s all a money making outfit There s more hotels restaurants and shopping outlets than there are animals Signage is confusing and there are vast open spaces with absolutely nowt to look at Won t be going back anytime soon

Trading on its name
It seems as though this wildlife park is trading on its name plenty of parkland trees and grass but short on wildlife Very poor value for money 68 for 2 adults only saw 2 Giraffes 2 dirty Polar Bears 2 Zebras a few Camels and Monkeys Good weather when we visited on 29 August 2024 and took a picnic good job we did as the food was very expensive definitely wouldn t recommend
