Happiness Peace

My husband was made redundant after 20 years at his firm and we struggled financially We knew we had to sell our beloved home to clear the mortgage and repay our debts We did not want to go into private renting we wanted security We came across Your Home and spoke in length with Camilla who was sympathetic and took her time to listen to us and more importantly wanted to help us Camilla was amazing Camilla put us in touch with Emma who was brilliant from start to finish Emma was always there if you had a question and explained the steps towards our new home clearly We have gone from total despair to happiness We have paid the mortgage off repaid all our debts have savings and most importantly of all a home that we love None of this would have been possible without Camilla in the first place Thank you Camilla Emma We would recommend Your Home Heylo without hesitation

Ambition achieved

We are both retired and thought why live in a third of a million pounds when you can spend it We have no one to leave it too We sold our business and our house planning to spend 6 months on the Canal du Midi then 6 months in Provence Then Covid arrived and we spent 13 months in East Yorkshire followed by 18 months in West Dorset We discovered that we didn t like renting and the vulnerability of having no fixed tenure Looking around for mortgages for people our age proved fruitless then we stumbled across Heylo on the internet They were helpful and clear from the start and when a property we liked had a 1 chance of flooding and their building insurance provider wanted an exorbitant premium for that 1 Heylo withdrew We had already paid for a survey but Heylo refunded that too We now own 20 of a lovely house and pay rent on the rest - much less than we were paying renting and we still have the majority of our capital for holidays and treats Win-win

This is an excellent service ideal for those who have limited equity to purchase a property outright Gives you the ability to buy a shared ownership property of your choice in an area that suits you so you are not limited to new builds or houses in areas that you are not interested the process from start to finish was very smooth and professional Rebecca Alexander was outstanding at keeping us up to date and informed at every point of our purchase I cannot recommend her highly enough This was the best decision we have made and took away all the worry of purchasing a property

Hope for the future

Had been a Mortgage Prisoner come to the end of our term with no home after 25 years This scheme has allowed us to get our dream home on shared ownership They were friendly and efficient and Rebecca in particular kept us informed every step of the way They were so kind to me when in the middle of house purchase my Mum died So grateful we now have a secure home for our pending retirement

Best decision I ever made

I had never heard of Shared Ownership until I started looking at properties as we had outgrown our house and the property s we needed were way out of our budget with a mortgage We saw a lovely property that ticked all our boxes advertised as Shared Ownership with Heylo Housing and started making enquiries A call and chat with Ben Kippen was easy and no stress or pressure was put on me to go ahead He was able to tell us how much we could go up to with the amount of deposit we had and it more than doubled our purchase price We are now the proud shared owners of our dream home with a garage and driveway big garden and extra rooms that allows our family to grow and it was such an easy process and we have the opportunity to step ladder and buy out the rest in bits over time if we wish For a single mum with a child with needs who needed more than my old property could give us for safety and accessibility - this company is a godsend Thank you Ben and Heylo for all you support as we couldn t have done it without you

Despair to delight
