From my experience Zalando have been unreliable and staff don t seem to understand of their own terms and conditions or what their part in a contract is I ordered two jackets two weeks ago at a large discount 60 v 165 full price great deal or so I thought I chased them after 5 days as the items were stuck in a distribution centre in Germany I chased again after another week had passed and they said the courier lost the package Even though the item was still in stock they cancelled the order and said they refunded the money which still hasn t hit my account If I wanted the jackets I would have to reorder prices are now 165 each After some arguing they agreed as a gesture of goodwill that if I paid 330 upfront they would hold for seven days minimum and then refund the difference when the item shipped Who knows when that would be Not only are they completely breaking the terms of the original contract their own Ts and Cs states if an item is in stock it will be shipped to the consumer per the original order Only when it is out of stock will a refund be issued I pointed this out to them but they annoyingly gloss over that on all correspondence and say computer says no One positive is that they get back fast but I have found them unreliable frustrating to deal with and worst of all not willing to stick to their own terms if it doesn t suit them Be wary of their good deals

Order delayed I received notification that they had sent it but Evri tracking status contradicted this I phoned the contact centre contact numbers fairly well hidden after the delivery window had expired to understand what was going on The line is noisy and distorted which doesn t help me to understand the agent s accent I m told that the items have not been passed to Evri yet Apparently the tracking status updates I have received were the items being moved from one location to another so whilst my account was stating the item had been shipped the reality was that it hadn t even left the warehouse This is 6 days after purchase I m told to give it another 24 hours and call back again if the Evri tracking information hasn t been updated within the delivery timeline I reminded the agent that the original delivery timeline has passed and ask them what would happen when I call back to what end They replied that the order could be cancelled and I could get a refund and reorder I m frustrated I m thinking why do I have to run around It is your issue you sort it for me I wasn t rude I asked calm questions but I felt the agent s tone was becoming frustrated and short like I have already told you I terminated the call as we are going around in circles resigned to the fact I will have to call back tomorrow to start a refund process No mention of a reimbursement no empathy or remorse for the frustration the company has caused me My trust in the brand is broken I will unlikely shop here again

Payment method failed
I was a customer on Zalando for many years Unfortunately I will not order from them again While all these years I could pay with an invoice now we can t pay with invoice We have to make a bank transfer Which it takes up to five days for the money to go to their bank as they say and when they receive the money then they send the package which takes another five days to be delivered Meaning you receive the package after 10 working days Also it takes a long time to receive the refund if you cancel or return an order They used to be very fast with the delivery and very professional but that has changed There are so many other websites that you can order the same quality same prices and much faster delivery The customer service says that if you choose the bank transfer payment method it takes a longer time but there is no other option You can t choose paying with any other option This is the only option that you have to pay Too bad for them too good for other companies that they will have new clients soon

Bad Customer service
Bad Customer service I sent back a shirt because it was fault They wouldn t except it as a reclamation but they kept the shirt and I still had to pay for it I have written several times to customer service but they don t answer back

Worst experience always
Worst experience always I came here to read comments from customers and have noticed that many customers are not getting refunded I not only shop from Zalando but also work with them in their partner program and we have the same experience as customers We have orders that are marked as returned and get money taken out but the item is not even returned to our warehouse Used order sent back to us and customers refunded for the items that are used and destroyed but not refunding genuine customer returns When we open cases with Zalando they keep bouncing us from one team to another brushing us off in spite of having contracts in place SO my wonder is if customers are not getting refunded and partners are not getting paid where is all the money for the items sold by partners and returned by customers going When I talk about items I talk about expensive items so stuff above 200 per item It is a huge loss to partners especially partners who are not major brands

This was the worst online shopping
This was the worst online shopping experience ever First of all they sent me the wrong size and color of the item which was a gift for my mother s birthday Secondly they didn t notify me about adding a romanian card to receive the money back When you introduce an international card details on the input fields there are no notifications error messages that the payment will not work No one really is taking responsibility for the whole situation their support team is useless and incompetent They don t get the customer relationship as an important factor for a company with such a name I ve never experienced anything like it since I am shopping online for years now I still didn t get my money back I don t know if I will since I am not in Romania anymore What a bloody disgrace And you ask them to get this escalated and they do nothing about it I want my money back
