A Disastrous Experience

I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by Zyla Labs specifically their Metals API It turned out to be a complete waste of my time and money Let me start by addressing the most infuriating issue the inability to upgrade my package I wanted to expand my current package as my needs had grown Normally you would expect a company to offer the flexibility to upgrade your package but not with Zyla Labs Instead they force you to purchase an entirely new package It s utterly ridiculous and makes no sense whatsoever I feel cheated and deceived What s worse is that they don t clearly state this policy on their website You only find out about it after you ve already signed up and are ready to upgrade This feels like a deliberate attempt to keep customers locked into their old packages and make them pay extra for something that should be straightforward Furthermore Zyla Labs customer service was utterly useless I reached out to express my frustration and explore possible solutions but I was treated as just another number devoid of any empathy or willingness to find a resolution They hid behind their rigid policies and did nothing to address my concerns I can honestly say that I will never use Zyla Labs services again Their lack of flexibility unclear policies and inadequate customer service have left me with a negative experience I strongly advise anyone in need of a Metals API provider to steer clear of Zyla Labs There are plenty of other companies out there that understand the value of their customers and treat them accordingly

Incredibly dissatisfied

I feel compelled to express my deep frustration with my recent encounter with Zyla Labs and their Metals API integration on zylalabs com Unfortunately my dissatisfaction stems from their handling of package modifications which has left me incredibly dissatisfied To provide some context I wanted to increase the capabilities of my existing package However I was astounded to discover that Zyla Labs does not offer a straightforward option to upgrade my current package Instead they insisted that I subscribe to an entirely new package This approach is perplexing and makes little sense It is unreasonable to expect customers to maintain multiple packages when all they seek is an upgrade to their current one Regrettably this forced me into a situation where I now have two concurrent packages with Zyla Labs which is both unnecessary and frustrating But the issues do not end there When I decided to cancel one of the packages I encountered yet another setback Zyla Labs promptly blocked my access to the API even though I had already paid for a year s worth of service Consequently not only did I lose my investment for the entire year but I was also denied access to the API

They charge you before your trial ends

This is the only website that charges you even before your trial ends I wanted to test some api endpoints Turns out they don t work so I unsubscribe in 10 seconds Guess what I already lost 50 dollars for nothing What kind of a website charges you before your trial ends TRIAL IS FOR TESTING YOU SHOULD NOT CHARGE USERS FOR USING TRIAL VERSIONDO NOT BUY API SERVICES FROM THIS WEBSITE THEY ARE A SCAM

Disappointing Experience with Zylalabs VIN Decoding APIs

I recently subscribed to three different VIN decoding APIs from Zylalabs one of which was a 7-day free trial and the other two were paid services costing 49 99 each After conducting a few tests I ve found that their APIs are not up to the mark Firstly all three APIs provided almost identical information which defeats the purpose of subscribing to multiple services Additionally I encountered inaccuracies within the data provided which is concerning When I reached out for refunds I was informed that only one refund could be issued and that it would not be possible to refund the second payment This is unacceptable and as a result I am considering a chargeback through my bank Based on my experience I cannot recommend Zylalabs services The quality did not meet my expectations and it felt like a waste of money Please be cautious if considering their VIN decoding solutions

Exactly same things happened with me i tried to use their api and the result was not satisfied at all i canceled the subscribtion and they refuses to give me money back Not recommend them at all their API is empty place

Unethical Business Practices

I had been a client for many years The function was no longer needed for my business website I chose to cancel my one year subscription on the same day it renewed I was charged 399 Although I chose to cancel the same day it renewed I was told they could not refund me any portion of the money I was paying one year in advance and was canceling on the renew date Very unprofessional that a company would charge you for services not used or rendered I would not recommend them based these practices

ABA Bank Routing Number API

Zyla Labs may have a lot of APIs but their business practices are unprofessional and unethical A year ago I purchased a 1-year subscription to an ABA Routing number API Bad on me for not doing more research but their data was very outdated I emailed asking when their data would be updated and they never replied My lack of research makes losing my initial subscription fee my fault I found another much more accurate API and abandoned the Zyla Lab API The next time Zyla Labs contacted me was a single email with both an invoice for renewal and a receipt for charging me for another year s subscription Within hours I asked them to cancel my subscription and refund my money They responded stating they could not issue a refund because Those are the terms and conditions you accepted when you created an account with us Charging in this manner seems very unethical to me Had they sent their renewal invoice a day week or month in advance like most ethical companies who automatically renew subscriptions I would have unsubscribed prior to the renewal If you have alternatives for using another API provider I recommend steering away from Zyla Labs Their business practices and policies do not have your best interests at heart

Low quality results predatory billing practices

As mentioned by other commenters I was charged after canceling my trial subscription Support claimed it was not canceled and would not refund the payment I canceled because the API results were very low quality

Charged for something I didn t buy

Just checked my credit card and have had a charge for 49 99 dollars Never have ever asked for any of the services I live in UK and am puzzled to see this charge Will contact my bank tomorrow to find out more
