Unprofessional crew damaged our belongings

We hired this company after a fire in our living room caused smoke damage throughout our house. When the restoration crew arrived, they seemed rushed and didn't take the time to protect our furniture or floors before starting work. During the cleanup process, one of the workers accidentally knocked over a bookshelf and broke several items that had sentimental value. When I brought this up with the supervisor, he said it wasn't their responsibility and that we should have moved everything ourselves beforehand. The smoke odor was reduced somewhat, but they left water stains on the carpet from their cleaning equipment. They also charged us more than the original quote without explaining why. I ended up having to hire another company to finish the job properly. Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and care.
