My Experience with the SJCAM SJ30 Action Camera
I’ve been using the SJCAM SJ30 for about three months now, mostly for hiking, cycling, and some casual vlogging, and honestly, it has exceeded my expectations for the price.

In good daylight, the 4K footage is sharp with vibrant colors. The electronic image stabilization (EIS) works decently—not GoPro-level, but it smooths out minor shakes during walking or casual riding. Low-light performance is where it struggles a bit; you’ll notice some grain and softer details. But again, that’s expected in this price bracket. The wide-angle lens gives a nice FOV without too much fish-eye distortion, and the photo mode produces clean, usable shots for social media.
Battery and Storage
The battery life is average—about 60-70 minutes of continuous recording in 4K, which is typical. I always carry two spare batteries, so it’s not a big deal. The camera supports up to 128GB microSD, and I haven’t experienced any dropped frames or overheating during long shooting sessions.
