Steam has been great for PC gaming
As a user who has been using Steam for years, I can say that the ecosystem Valve has built is genuinely satisfying and has provided an excellent platform for gamers. Of course, Steam and Valve aren't perfect, but when I look at the alternatives — EA App, Ubisoft Connect, Rockstar Games Launcher, or even Epic Games Launcher — I personally find the overall experience on Steam much more enjoyable and reliable.
