How to get things right when things go wrong

The best way to judge a company and whether they are trustworthy is to consider how they manage when things go wrong which they inevitably will from time to time This was my first time ordering from Baker Ross so when my order wasn t delivered within the expected delivery timeframe I contacted the company and got a near immediate and very cheery response from Cindy to say that she would check in with the courier to see what had happened When after a couple of days the courier eventually found the package Cindy conscientiously advised that she couldn t guarantee a delivery date so she gave me the option of either an immediate refund or that she would reissue the order I reluctantly went for the refund as I was ordering something that I really needed to have Not a problem for Cindy she duly issued the refund Fast forward a couple of days later and my order now arrives I contacted the company again to say that the order had arrived and to tell them to cancel the refund or else I would now pay for the order I had received Lyn from the company contacted me and could not have been nicer and told me to keep the item with their compliments I should also say that I had submitted my order on the 12th of May and my last email from them was on the 12th of June so all of this was dealt with amazingly efficiently and with absolute professionalism and grace and for that I sincerely thank both Lyn and Cindy and the clever people at Baker Ross who put those two ladies at the end of the Baker Ross office email inbox This was a customer services masterclass in how to get things right when things go wrong Many thanks to Lyn and to Cindy
